Loki steps away from her touch, a sharp movement that puts distance between them. He steps back, away from her, out of her range of reach. “I did not do it all to protect you. I did it because I wanted to, because I wanted to destroy myself and my body. And I would rather you be angry than this- this indifference!” Sigyn’s eyes widen, shock and hurt flashing across her face.
“Indifference?” She echoes, looking utterly appalled. Loki continues on, his voice shaking.
“Yes!” His voice rises, his pain and frustration coming to the surface. “Yell at me! Scream at me! I have defiled your name and our relationship by lying with another! Several others! Do something, say something!”
Sigyn’s eyes flash with sudden intensity, her gentle demeanor giving way to fierce passion. “You think this is indifference?” She exclaims, her voice rising as she steps forward with purpose. “Loki, I am far from indifferent. I am burning with rage, but not at you.”

Summary
Three months after the Battle of Endor, Luke Skywalker goes in search of a rumoured Jedi temple in a secluded part of the Mid Rim. He finds within the temple nothing but a strange artifact, which unexpectedly brings him much closer to the Jedi of old than he ever thought he would be.
When Luke fails to return from his mission, Leia goes after him, retracing his steps to the ancient temple — and to the past, to the time of the Clone Wars and the waning years of the Old Republic. Under suspicion by the Jedi Order, the twins struggle to find a way back to their own time while trying to keep their knowledge of the future from affecting the past.
This, however, turns out to not be as simple as it seems.

And then, the single, unified rhythm breaks.
The chant dies away awkwardly. Everyone is breathing too hard to sing. And they are too distracted in any event. For the men down below in the sanctuary begin to yield their Force. Slower, and slower still becomes the pulsating sensation emanating from their group. One man at the front shudders and slumps forward as the first to fall. As he slumps, a blue mist of visible Force wafts up from his body to travel towards Lord Tenebrae. It swirls around the priest and disappears. Then another man slumps and more blue mist envelopes the Master Sorcerer.
Tosca watches in horror. This is the visible evidence of a soul leaving its body to adhere to another. Tonight’s ritual is more than an execution that kills and sends the Force of the condemned back to join the universe at large from which it came. This is theft. The condemned yield their Force to another completely in an unprecedented transfer of power. Lord Tenebrae is literally absorbing their lives, she realizes.
The men start falling fast as the ritual gains momentum even as the thumping sensation slows to a halt. Everywhere Tosca looks, men are prostrate face down dead. The air is shimmering with blue mist arising and wafting towards Lord Tenebrae. It’s like seeing four hundred ghosts rising from the dead to join together and possess a new body. This is Sith alchemy at its most complex and daunting.

“Darkness is dangerous,” the priest gasps in a shaky voice.
Yes, Darkness is deadly. Tonight had demonstrated that very clearly. “It’s done. You’re done now.”
“It will consume you if you let it. Once it’s done lashing out, it destroys from within—“
He’s babbling now. She just lets him talk.
“That’s why Darkness can’t win. Because once we defeat others, we will defeat ourselves. We will turn on one another. It’s why the Sith will never rule the galaxy. Not for long, at least . . . ”
“Shhh. Do not doubt. Do not fear. Darkness is supreme,” she assures him. “We will win in the end.” She quotes him Dark Side chapter and verse. “We will get revenge. Once more, the Sith shall rule the galaxy.”
“We won’t. We can’t. I know it for certain,” he chokes out. “Fourteen hundred years a Sith has taught me the fallacy of Darkness . . . ”

“Plenty of Sith elite have the Light in some degree or another. Some of what people perceive as low skills in Darkness is really the Light at work,” Carl explains. “It’s something of a counterbalance, I suppose. But since no one alive has ever seen the Light in action, they do not recognize it.” He shrugs. “Sometimes in life you have to know what you are looking for in order to find it.”

Tosca holds his gaze as she raises her left hand and announces her benediction, "I bleed for you, my Lord." Then she takes the knife and slashes her palm and keeps on slashing. She wounds her hand and then carves hard at her wrist too.
"NO!" Carl roars as his far superior reflexes nab the knife she next raises to plunge into her throat. He knocks it away and knocks her down in the process. "NO!"
She's on the ground bleeding in sickening spurts from her left wrist. She stares blankly at the gory wound. Is it sufficient? She hopes so. Carl clearly fears it is because he grabs her left arm and starts wrapping tight with his cloak.
"What have you done?" he hisses.
Carl is the one fumbling and terrified now. Tosca herself is surprisingly calm. She's not afraid to die. She's done it before. What truly scares her is living forever with this man. And maybe it's clinical shock, but Tosca is not feeling any pain. She just feels release. Like a great weight has been lifted from her shoulders. She will be free soon. Free of this man and his toxic love that has destroyed her life.
Like all suicides, this is an act of desperation. But it is not a cry for help. Tosca would not have taken this path as a ploy for attention. This is not a stunt. Tosca did it with intent to follow through. This is her best choice, she believes. With the grim cost benefit analysis that first led her to Carl's throne room, Tosca has thought this through. And yes, today she has been an emotional wreck reeling from the loss of Gaius. But tonight was a deadline she could not put off. And besides, more time to think it over would yield no further options.

“Do you remember that night?” she asked, holding his face between cool palms. He closed his eyes in response and she watched him lift away, soaring into a memory so crisp she could feel the rough sheet against her skin.
“I remember.”
He’d been covering himself with one palm and he shifted then, bringing his other hand there with a flustered groan as she carried on, determined.
“Every time, since then, it’s what I think about. That look on your face. Nobody ever looked at me that way.”
He gave her that same expression, the exact one she clung to on the days she couldn’t take another moment of doubt and responsibility and empty, unchanneled power. It sent a wave through her, furious aching, and she covered his eyes with one hand, bringing her mouth to his ear. Beneath her, his leg was moving in uncontrolled rapid jerks, and Rey tried hard to focus her thoughts.

"Tatooine," her twin growls.
"What? Why?"
"Ask her," Luke points an accusing finger at Rey.
Leia's lips twitch, expression torn between delight and confusion.
"Rey? What... how... why are we here?"
"I am burying the sabers," she says, and when Leia's face remains confused, she adds, "to lay you both to rest. The Force demands it."
"But why," Leia shakes her head, "I mean, I've never even been here. What is this place?"
"It's my uncle's farm," Luke interjects, "it's where I grew up. I hate it here."
Leia looks around again.
"You... grew up here? In this dump? It's..." she falters, "I'm sorry, Luke, it's terrible."
"Right?!" Luke flaps his arms like a flightless bird.
"Rey! You can't bury us here!"
"I'm sorry," Rey mumbles, blushing, "but I have to. The Force..."OR Rey buries the sabers on Tatooine and causes a minor Skywalker family reunion. And while she's at it she also gets her man back.

This only led to him seeking solitude that much more. He had always retreated into himself due to his introverted nature, but this was becoming extreme. When he left his precious solitude to come to a meal, he came with the appearance of a starving scavenger but didn't display the appetite of one.

Rey nodded in understanding and gently touched the scar on his face, as if it were the first time she’d seen it. “I’m sorry,” Rey said, “I kind of scarred you for life.”
“It’s okay. I like it.”

You left me, remember? he thinks about demanding angrily. Maybe if she were his dad—certainly if she were his uncle. But she’s neither. She’s Rey, and she’s cold, and she’s not happy despite her sunshine smile and her gold dress.
“You looked sad,” he says and now it’s his turn to drop the pitch in his voice, to try to hide the way that annoying lump has lodged itself in his throat.
“It’s none of your business if I look sad or not,” she tells him. “Not anymore.”

“Need anything else?” Ben asks her quietly and she starts, her head jerking towards him, and her hand coming to rest over her heart. She winces. She forgets which motions hurt her shoulder. “Mom,” he adds.
“I’m fine,” she tells him. “I think that’s it,” she says. “At least for today. We’re going to have to do Luke’s stuff next week, I think.”
Ben’s face clearly reveals the way his heart twists because his mother rolls her eyes. “Look, if I die, you really aren’t going to want to do it on your own.”
That had been her logic for finally—after several years—going through the last of his dad’s crap. And it’s triply true for Luke. If that car accident had killed her…
“Yeah,” he sighs. “Yeah, I’ll come back next weekend.”
“And before then?” his mother asks and he pauses. She’s got this sad and hopeful look in her eyes, this please, baby, please talk to me, look that she’s had for more than half his life. Dad’s dead, Luke’s dead, it’s just us, please talk to me, please let’s stop hurting, her gaze seems to say.
“I’m free Wednesday. I could come by for dinner.”
Her eyes get suddenly very bright. “I’d like that.”

“I never really got the chance. But I would have.” That comes out defiantly, just like she means it. Eyes flashing, Meetra asserts, “Love means you don’t give up on people.” Love means you stick around when things get tough and disagreements happen. Love doesn’t bail when things go wrong. And love doesn’t give a damn about limits and rules like in the Jedi Code. Love defies and transcends all that. And if after all the frustrations and disappointments of life, love lets you down . . . maybe your loved one falls to the Dark Side or uses a super weapon, say for example . . . well then, your job as the counterpart of that love is to try to forgive. Because love lets you have a fresh start. Love sees the best of you and helps you confront the worst.

Summary
After the Battle of Crait, Kylo needs to find a way to get Rey back. He turns to the Darkside of the Force and the guidance of a Sith long forgotten. To Kylo’s surprise, he is able to travel through time and save young Rey from the harsh lands of Jakku. He entrusts the young girl with family on Naboo with the strict instructions to enroll her in Luke’s Academy a year before Ben runs to Snoke.
Kylo visits young Rey every year, never removing his mask. He needs to groom her into exactly what a tormented young Ben Solo will needs to avoid a future with The First Order.
This tale does not give Kylo the happily ever after he bent time to achieve, but in the words of his misguided Uncle, this is not going to go the way you think it is.Series
