Summary
“Bruuuce?” Jason blinked already hazy teal eyes. Between the scents of his pack and the enclosure of the bed, he should feel safe enough even if he panicked as the hazy sedation worked its way through his body.
“Jaylad. Relax. I’ll take care of you.” Bruce stroked the side of his omega’s face before turning it tenderly to find the vein. “This will help you.” Despite the wriggling, he pressed the syringe into the vein well enough to complete the injection. It would work quickly -- ten minutes, perhaps less. “Settle, Jay. I’m going to help you.”
Jason gasped, shifting his hips as the heat inducer did its work. “Wh-what… what are y-you doing to me?”
“I refuse to lose you to your own choices.”

A retelling of Batman #138 (2024), if Bruce had access to pack dynamics to alter biochemicals instead. It will also follow some of the arc in Gotham War: Scorched Earth, Batman #139-141, and Batman #148.
HEA promised, though only for Jason. Because he deserves fucking better than canon.
