    Tubbo’s- Tubbo’s here, or at least a version of him is, and goddammit Tommy missed him so fucking much. He hovers his mouse over the stream, biting his lip nervously, before taking the leap and joining it.

    And fuck, Tubbo looks so similar that Tommy thinks he might cry again.

    He doesn’t have horns, doesn’t have the long hair that covers half his face, doesn’t have the fucking awful scars that Tommy still hates himself for having let happen – but it’s still unmistakably him. His smile’s the same, he laughs the same – if a little brighter and less reserved – he brushes his hair back the same way and furrows his brows in concentration the same way and groans lightly in frustration the same way and-

    It’s not him, but it’s still Tubbo, and Tommy can find himself loving this version of him already.

    (Or: Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo find themselves reincarnated into the bodies of their streamer selves, and learn to live in a world that, instead of being cruel, is kind to them.)

    Aliens.

    Aliens!

    The adrenaline was slowly seeping away at this point, ragged breaths escaping him as he stared down at the defeated alien.

    This was literally the worst possible outcome that could’ve come from his and his foster mothers’ argument. Like, he expected maybe a scolding when he got back, or at worst the police called on him for running away, but no. Honest to god aliens.

     

    Or,


    Humans are a young race, and Tommy, a particularly volatile human, is plucked from his home and forced to survive in a foreign land. It certainly doesn't help with the fact that the whole of galactic society is under the impression humans lack the ability for complex thought.

    OR, OR, tommy is a sewer rat and the rest of space is new york city and everyone is irrationally terrified of the rat.

    The aliens haven’t experimented on him. They’re scared of him and Tommy is glad for it.
    Almost all.

    The Demon, green-silver-mercury; tall, muscled with golden horns is the only one that isn’t. He doesn’t flinch whenever Tommy screams at him through the glass, when he pounds his fist or charges the door with a ducked shoulder and a brace for bruises, but neither does he appreciate it for long. He, at least, is the only one so far to threaten Tommy.
    It had only been a raised hand—the glass between them protecting Tommy from the violence and protecting the alien from his retaliation—but it was a threat, nonetheless. Unacted upon, because in all the weeks Tommy has been in his possession, he hasn’t made a move to come into his enclosure cell and do anything against him.

    But that’s just the point. It’s been, weeks? A month? Nearly two?
    Tommy knows that the aliens’ patience is going to eventually run out at some point and he’s not keen to find out what will happen next.
    He’s expecting violence. He’s expecting pain, he’s expecting blood, he’s expecting….

    He’s not expecting this.

    Or: Humans will pack bond with anything.

    Tommy pressed a hand to the window. The sharp chill settled deep into the bones of his fingers, a stark reminder that this wasn’t a dream. His breath fogged the glass as he stared into the open expanse of space, at the endless sea of stars that he could see from so far away, yet seemed close enough to touch.

    The creature outside moved closer, and Tommy locked eyes with it. Slowly, almost gingerly, it pressed a palm against the glass, directly over Tommy’s own. It was green like the rest of its translucent skin, and unmistakably human.

    Tommy stared out from the silent bridge of the ship, and the impossible stared back.

     

    Or- A classic space AU obsession featuring Tommy as our resident space orc, the SBI as our eccentric alien family, and a conspiracy unraveling at the seams.
