But he could think of no death more beautiful for a dying father.
To have achieved it in protecting his son, cradled in the arms of a boy once too small to wrap his arms around his waist.
It pained him to leave his son so early, so abruptly, but if it had to happen, Bruce couldn’t think of a more worthwhile death.
“I love you.”
Bruce keeps dying. He does not know that he's already died multiple times today but his children do. And they're going to save him.
(Groundhog Day fic told entirely from the perspective of someone who doesn't remember the loop.)

Instead Happy pulls Peter aside and tells him the tour guides are all out sick with the flu, and that Pepper wants Peter to lead the tour. Peter’s not freaking out… totally not. He can do this (maybe) if he can just channel Mr. Stark for the day.
