Salvage by MuffinLance
After being thrown overboard during the storm, Zuko manages to survive through sheer willpower long enough to be found and dragged aboard by Hakoda's ship. Though they try to give Zuko a quick death due to his assumed status as a Fire Nation soldier, Zuko notices and calls them out on it. He introduces himself as Prince Zuko, to which changes the situation when Hakoda realises he could ransom Zuko to the Fire Lord. Through general shenanigans, the crew keep Zuko alive and try to clamp down on his escape attempts, through mixed results. What the situation ends up becoming is Zuko being adopted into the Water Tribe, and fighting with his new siblings.

Of course, there's nowhere to go without looking like more of a maniac than he already does, so he keeps himself still and tries his damndest to not stare at Roier.
Because really, it's sort of hard not to stare. Not in a romantic way, not even in the slightest, but in a way that would probably be considered a billion times worse by normal, functioning society. Thankfully, the QSMP—Purgatory in particular—is just about the furthest away from "normal, functioning society" that you can be without straight up logging onto 2b2t, so the rest of Bolas Rojas was mostly unsurprised, if not a bit intrigued, when Charlie boldly declared yesterday that he wanted to try eating a player.
