Summary
Vera was an avid believer in the fantastical and magical till an experience in high school causes her to lose faith in magic for years till the appearance of monsters on the surface. Unaware of her abilities she summoned an apple from the tree of negativity and during a night of curiosity becomes corrupted by its power.
After reawakening to look like a monster Veras life turns upside down till a friendly skeleton monster who often buys her flowers reaches out to become her closest friend. In befriending him she's thrust into a new world of monsters, racism, and the multiverse itself as she comes to find out her soul is trying to tie itself to the god of hopes and dreams.

There were many things that kept the multiverse running; systems that worked side by side to make sure everything didn't fall apart in an instant. The most well known of these systems were the three main balances.
Life and Death, Creation and Destruction, Positivity and Negativity — all completely necessary aspects to the universes and the people within them.
Four Gods and two Guardians maintain this balance, but the multiverse has strange ways of protecting itself as well.

Summary
Dream had gotten used to being called “a gift.” He was a gift to the Villagers, he was someone they could rely on.
It wasn’t long until Dream realized that “gift” also meant “object.” It meant “possession.”
Even though it had been years since the destruction of Dreamtale, the Guardian still believes that he is just a possession for the people of the Multiverse.

Summary
There wasn't a creature in the entire multiverse quite like Nightmare. Most viewed him as an insane overlord high on power, but he radiated far too much calculation and control for blind madness to be the cause of his personality. No, he was smart. Incredibly so. He best be, as he ran an entire kingdom of misery and suffering just out of reach from the universe's nosey "Saviors."
Cross had a difficult time deciphering his master's intentions. One may argue that he had no choice in being the ravenous king he is now, but that life had forced him down the path long ago for the sake of feeding. That's what this is all for after all. The pain and suffering. It was to feed the king. Cross couldn't despise him for such a basic necessity, no matter how foreign the concept and how often hunger turned the king's attention his way.
His servitude didn't go unrewarded. He had a fraction of the dark palace that he could call home. In a multiverse that had played him dirty, that one prize meant everything to him. He would just go ahead and label himself insane if he didn't put his entire soul into protecting this second chance, and by extension, Nightmare.

Summary
The Council makes a deal with the fabled God Dream for his assistance in defeating his tyrant God twin, Nightmare. However, Dream will not help them for free; he locks eyes with Cross, and decides he wants him in exchange for the war victory. It's an easy decision, is it not?
There's just one problem with this arrangement: Cross is a spy, sent by Nightmare himself. And Nightmare is absolutely unforgiving of traitors. But he cannot offend Dream, for he too is an Immortal. He cannot forget how dangerous they both are, how any wrong move will end in his demise or worse.
(Cross forgets, however, that he himself is mortal.)
[OR: A Empire/Kingdoms UTMV AU, where Cross is caught between the crossfire of Immortal/Gods! Dreamtale Twins. Who have also been influenced by God!Ink and God!Error; it's a cycle, really.]

Summary
Ink is often thought of by the inhabitants of the AUs as a "god" but that is far from the truth. In reality, Ink is the Creation Mechanism, a tool created by Fate to serve the Creators in their creation of AUs. But Fate didn't realize what that would truly mean, especially in a multiverse with limited capacity. Fate warned Ink about this, but the Creators are heedless to it, so it really doesn't matter if Ink even remembers the warning.
Frustrated and desperate to do something to prevent catastrophe, Fate creates Error, a Balancer who is actually under her control, to try and curb the issue, but it isn't clear whether that will be enough. And Error isn't as willing to go along with his new role as Ink is.
Ink has always felt it wasn't his place to question the Creators or his role in the Multiverse, but when he meets Error, that begins to change.
Meanwhile, Destiny watches in the background, as she always does, plotting a way to free them both from the chains of Balance. And the duo's friends don't intend to stand idly by either.

Its been at least 500 years since Nightmare trapped his brother in stone. At least, that's what he guesses. It makes sense that Dream hasn't aged a day under the stasis spell.

An AU in which when Dream gets out of stone, he is still a child. Nightmare is (mostly) sane, and has a family to call his own, but when Dream makes his way back into his life he can't help but try to give Dream the childhood the apple incident stole from them.

figured out how to gift and put down my inspiration so please go check out One Small Dream by Calcium_Cat if you haven't already since after reading their fic I realized I simply needed more baby Dream. Then my mind went haywire for Dream (the boy TM) and I started writing this :D-

Cross looked up, still trying his best to comfort a shaking skeleton in his arms.
‘Dust is out of commission. I won’t be able to calm him down enough in time. He is freaking out and seeing as they got us into this situation, I bet Killer is having one hell of a laugh-’
Killer wasn’t moving.
Looking over his shoulder, Cross expected to find Killer enjoying the thrill and probably doing something stupid, digging them deeper into the ground.
Why wasn’t Killer moving?
They just sat there, staring. Their crooked smile plastered uncomfortably. Their void eyes empty and hollow.
It was… Concerning. Calculating. Cold.

Cross didn’t know what came to him.
Maybe it was a guard instinct, maybe it was his fight or flight mindset. But, at the moment, he really, really, wanted to punch himself for not just daring to think this was a good plan, for not just having the impulse, almost automatic instinct of saving someone, but that someone being Killer.
His ideas were not always the brightest.
