There was residue from glow in the dark stars long since peeled off on the ceiling, 'I remember him helping me put those up' he thought, before another thought crossed his mind as he looked to the calendar on the wall.
'Do you think of me on my birthday, Sunny? Do I linger in your thoughts like poison on your lips? Do you forever have the curse of thinking of me when you see a blooming sunflower reaching out towards the sun desperately? Am I innocent in your memory?'

Between staying up late to work on his commissions, and then staying up late against his will due to insomnia, Sunny got next to no sleep last night. When he wakes up, he's reminded by his partners that the four of them were going out on a date today. He really isn't feeling up for it, but he and his partners were looking forward to spending the day together, so he was just going to have to suck it up. He just can't let his partners know he's feeling off, or else they'll try to cancel so that they can force him to go to bed. Easy.
He can last a few hours... right?
