Summary
Unable to handle the death of her son, Ramonda drowns herself in the ocean shortly after T'Challa's funeral. When the grief of the back-to-back losses becomes too much for her, Shuri attempts the same fate as her mother. A god-king on his way to make a negotiation saves her life and takes her to Talokan. It is there in that underwater kingdom where Shuri finds healing and love.
