Summary
Enjolras' parents saw the coming-of-age of their only son and heir as an important event. For Enjolras, however, spending his 21st birthday at his family home was less than ideal. His only comforts are his friends' letters and the company of a childhood friend.
He returns to Paris looking forward to a proper celebration, wondering how you plan something that's not a revolution. Then he hears Courfeyrac, Combeferre and Feuilly nerding out over hot-air balloons, and it gives him an idea...
At the same time, Enjolras is troubled by his deteriorating relationship with Grantaire. What has been, for two years, a stormy but still reasonably amicable friendship, has become increasingly adversarial in recent months. For Enjolras, the exasperation he's nearly always felt in Grantaire's company is starting to deepen into contempt. Yet he can no more shake off his fondness for the man than he can explain why he felt it in the first place.
As his plan comes to fruition, Enjolras is determined to forget his feud with Grantaire and focus on giving his friends a joyous and unforgettable experience. By the end of the night, however, the gulf between the two men will have widened – seemingly beyond repair.

Summary
After an argument, Enjolras and Grantaire wake up to find that they have switched bodies.
“So you wanna play Freaky Friday with me?”
“No, I don’t want to *play* Freaky Friday, but this is the only theory we have. We might as well try it.”
“So we don’t tell the others and live as each other for the day?”
“Yes.”
“Just in case we are following TV show logic and have to walk a mile in each other’s shoes?”
“It’s all we have to go off of.”
“Alright, Apollo. Let’s play Freaky Friday.” -

Rule #9
Courfeyrac is always on music, always. Regardless of the occasion, a normal catch-up, an extravagant party, or a hesitant road trip, Courfeyrac is the only one in the group who possesses enough of an open mind to be put in charge of such a fundamental aspect of all social events. (His words.)Rule #3
When drinking, Jehan must hand their phone over to Grantaire or Bahorel, who must put it in a safe space where it cannot be found by Drunk Jehan throughout the rest of the night. Drunk Jehan cannot be trusted not to text Montparnasse.Rule #1
Don't touch Enjolras.Or, the one where Enjolras and Grantaire finally collide, Courfeyrac cannot be normal about it, and Combeferre just tries to help. An incredibly dramatic ExR modern au.

Summary
“Why don’t I walk you home?” Grantaire asked, his green eyes lighting up with something that Enjolras had an intimate knowledge of— the last time he had seen that look in Grantaire’s eyes was the last time he had come to visit— the last time he had seen him— the winter before that. That last December; the December that had, once again, changed something in the chemical makeup of both of their bodies; both of their hearts; the December that put them, somehow, back where they started.
Enjolras couldn’t hem or haw over the decision any longer; if he took too long to think about the offer, everyone would know— it was a miracle that they had managed to keep it a secret for two years, anyway. Though, Enjolras had told Cosette, and Grantaire had told Eponine— so was it even really still a secret?
“Come on,” Grantaire urged. “Seriously, this place has gotten weird ever since you left, we can’t have you walking alone at night, especially now that you’re not a city boy anymore.”
“Fine,” Enjolras huffed, gathering his things to go. “It was great to see all of you tonight,” he managed to get out.(or, the former-fwb-to-lovers one shot inspired by winterbreak and everything by MUNA)

Hugo told us that Grantaire was obsessed with the idea of romance and obsessed with the idea of Enjolras. He told us that Enjolras had a deep rooted love for the republic and a deep rooted hate for Grantaire. He never exactly told us how they got this way.

“Am I?” he whispered, a glint in his eye.

The amis host a party for Enjolras' birthday, and attempt to get him as drunk as possible. Turns out it's not that difficult, and Enjolras is a very entertaining drunk XD
This one isn't connected to the others in this series btw, its a standalone but still modern era because they didnt have the macarena in 1832Series

Summary
The only thing to suggest that Grantaire was paying attention was his amber gaze, fixed upon Enjolras at the front of the room. The chair legs underneath him gave a groan as he pushed his luck, feeling the swoop of gravity grip him too tightly by the stomach. For all the noise he was making, he was surprised the leader himself had not shot him a glare—it was just as well, he supposed he was not worth the distraction.
OR: grantaire's devotion to enjolras reaches a fever pitch.

Summary
“I miss you, R. But you need to get help,” Enjolras started, “Because...really, it doesn’t have to be over for us.”
And a fire was lit in R’s heart. If there was one thing that could convince a poor traumatized bastard that had been drinking since age 14 that he could quit drinking, it was Enjolras. If there was one person who he would try for, it was Enjolras. And try, he would. He was already three hours sober, after all.
