    “Good evening Mr Captain America Rogers, sir,” Peter replied and Mr Stark let out a guffaw, “God kid, you’re hilarious."
    “I don’t know about the rest of you but if the kid calls me Mr Hawkeye or Mr Hawkeye Barton even once I’ll lock him in an empty room and set Fury on him,” Hawkeye said, “If you really don’t want to call me Clint, kid, call me Hawkeye.” Peter just nodded, his throat was way too blocked up to speak and there was a stinging sensation behind his eyes.

    Sometime 6 months later, Peter hasn’t spoken to Tony Stark since and he wasn’t planning to ever again, that was until Mr Harrington’s announcement. But that wasn’t even the worst of it.
    “I'm sorry, what? I think I misheard you, Mr Harrington."
    “You heard me correctly, Mr Parker,” said Mr Harrington, gravely, “You’ve been banned from Avengers Tower.”

    Peter has to deal with embarrassing parents, a high school bully, and his disaster of an extended family.

    He deserves to get paid for this.

    Tony Stark was a kind man. He wasn't perfect by any means, he was flawed. But kind nonetheless. So it was not that shocking to Pepper and the Avengers when he'd 'adopted' an intern. It was a surprise in a different sense that it was Tony—Freaking—Stark. He may be kind enough to do something like it, but most people wouldn't imagine it actually happening. It's not like he'd really adopted the kid, he simply was...protective to say the least.
