Last year was eventful.
At least that’s how Raiden would describe it. Professor Weasley says that’s an understatement.
But now Raiden could rest easy. Ranrok was gone, and so was Rookwood and Harlow with most poacher camps gone. All that Raiden’s going to have to do is continue studying, hang out with his friends, attend quidditch practice, care for the beasts and plants in the room of requirement, and avoid Sebastian’s annoyed glares at him (which would be difficult because they slept in the same dorm). In Raiden’s opinion Sebastian should be glad that he didn’t turn him in after the incident. But this year will be easy.

Sebastian repeated it back to me, his voice a low murmur, almost reverent. "No..." The word lingered between us as his hand rose, fingers brushing against my cheek with a tenderness that contrasted sharply with the darkness he had just confessed to.
