Something in his brain moves, and, holy shit.
Trevor's first move wasn’t to acknowledge the trade.
It was to acknowledge him.
And Jamie? He doesn’t know what to do with that.

Summary
Trevor comes home to a dark apartment.
It’s not an unusual sight, at this point. With Jamie still freshly hurting from his injury and having a habit of his pain meds, Trevor comes home to the lights turned off and Jamie asleep on the couch more often than not. The more often times normally happen on game nights, or when he’s been due to return from road trip games, Jamie wanting to be able to greet him the moment he comes home (though he would deny that no matter what).

It's as simple as that.

Summary
Trevor’s okay, or at least that’s what he keeps telling himself. He’s doing just fine, not that anyone had asked in awhile. Well, that’s not entirely true – Jamie had called to check in, but that doesn’t count, Jamie’s not his teammate anymore. Trevor doesn’t deserve to feel not okay. He’s an NHL player, and he’s living in California, isn’t that all he’s ever wanted? It was. This definitely used to be the dream, but somewhere along the line reality came crashing down and now he just feels numb.
Basically, Trevor and Jack finally figure it out, it just takes a bit of time! Also wrote this while listening to Phoebe Bridgers do not recommend.

Summary
Dixie’s in Paris, doing a photoshoot trip that she said would last her a couple days, so he invited Jamie out for this unofficial double date. It’s only unofficial in the way that Jamie and Trevor are calling it a double date and Jack is just saying it’s bros hanging out.
Trevor doesn’t know if you can call it bros hanging out when you’ve vented about how in love you are with the other man coming, but whatever. He’s not here to figure out the logistics, or anything else.
or, Trevor has to get one of his best friends and his crush together

Summary
Matt wonders idly about Bobby Junior then. Junior loved hockey, had dreams of going to the NHL with Matt. Where would he be if he were still alive? He’d be drafted in 2023, would he be drafted in the first round? Second? Would he be in San Jose? Vancouver with Quinn? Philadelphia with him?
or
Bobby Nash's nephew, Matthew Nash, is an NHL player for the Philadelphia Flyers. May and him meet at the Kings game, and what happens after is a story about reconciliation between Matt and his Uncle Bobby, the new family Bobby found and made, and the family Matt made in Philadelphia.

Summary
“Sorry about this,” he says, and then scoops Trevor up and carries him over to his truck easy as anything, as if he’s some bunny who weighs about a buck fifteen.
He might have to kill this guy and hide the body, because no one can find out that he got picked up bridal-style and tossed in the back seat like he’s about to let his date slide from second to third. The guys already give him enough shit for being pretty in the face – there’s no need to add fuel to their fire.

Summary
Jack is from a hockey family, he knows hockey. He knows the best way to skate in specific situations, he knows what’s happening on the ice before it happens, and he knows how to score against every goalie he’s ever faced.
What Jack doesn’t know, is how people know that they’ve found the one. He doesn’t know how people can tell when someone is worth risking it all.

Summary
There's part of him that wants to say, come home with me, come lie with me on the couch, come let me hold you 'til we feel better. Come be with me, come be with me.
But Trevor is holding himself in that brittle way that Jamie's starting to recognize means he needs to be out of Jamie's space, and so he keeps the words behind his teeth and lets himself out. It feels a little bit like he's outside his own body. It feels a little bit like he's just had his whole life rewritten.

Summary
this is basically just a group chat of all the gay nhl players.
the older veterans decided that as they get close to retiring, they want to make the league easier for the younger gays. not realizing how many of them there actually are.
also, not all players are tagged bc there's not enough room but there's going to be a lot of players and i'll the couples as they are written into this!

Summary
Quinn Hughes carries the weight of everyone’s silence. Stoic, sharp, and quietly unraveling — Quinn loves too deeply to ever say it out loud.
Jack Hughes, the boy everyone wants, except the one he needs. Loud laughs, easy charm, and eyes that never stop searching for what he lost.
Luke Hughes is too young to be this bruised. He gives and gives until there’s nothing left — except the part of him that still hopes someone will stay.
One lake house. One summer. Three brothers slowly coming undone.
Hidden deep in the woods, the lake house was supposed to be an escape — late nights, shared laughter, and maybe a chance to forget. But under the warm sun and behind closed doors, old wounds reopen. Love tangles with memory, jealousy simmers beneath every glance, and silence says more than words ever could.
