    Summary

The Republic and Separatists have been fighting the Clone Wars for a year now. The Galaxy is in ruins, the Senate powerless, the Jedi grow ever brutal, and the people are suffering while capitalists and politicians enrich themselves. There is talk of an anti-slavery Rebellion in the Outer Rim, led by a mysterious leader born out of Tatooine slave culture.

Nobody takes it seriously, until Ahsoka Tano is saved on a mission by said leader, a rogue Jedi who keeps calling her Master Anakin Skywalker 'Junior' and forces her to reconsider the Jedi's role in the war.
They say that they're called Luke Skywalker, and that they're...supercool.

    Summary

Anakin Skywalker never left Tatooine. Qui-Gon Jinn never died. Padme and Obi-Wan never met Anakin. The Clone Wars began anyway.

This is the story of a wildly Force sensitive Anakin who wants nothing to do with the Jedi and who is immediately assumed to be a Sith. This is the story of a slavery hating Padme who has to choose between the Republic and what's right. This is the story of a conflicted Obi-Wan who comes head to head with the Jedi Order's flaws and mistakes. This is the story of a living Qui-Gon Jinn who has to come to grips with his part in all that has gone wrong.

This is the story of how the Clone Wars end.

Rated M only because of violence and mature themes (noted in the tags or in chapter notes).

“An issue has arisen concerning the Mid Rim world of Naboo, which is under Trade Federation blockade,” Plo explained, tapping at the datapad. “Jedi negotiation has been requested by the Senate. The Council had thought to send Master Qui-gon Jinn, due to his experience with such matters, but-”

“-but he doesn’t have any troopers attached to him,” Wolffe realized. “Are we anticipating this turning into a military confrontation?”

“There has been, to put it simply, a collective bad feeling,” his Jedi demurred.

“Ah. I’ll tell the boys to pack, then."

    Summary

This series explores two intertwined narratives: the adventures of time-traveling Obi-Wan and the reactions from the core, particularly the Jedi. It presents a Jedi-positive perspective but challenges the traditional notion of Jedi training. The series questions the importance of time in training versus the impact of experiences on a Jedi's potency. Drawing on examples from Legends, canon, and games, I posit that the skills of a Jedi could be taught to adults/teenagers in a relatively short time. It’s the mastery of self that would take the most time, and ultimately why the late-modern Republic’s Jedi training started with children.

    Summary

The galaxy teeters on the brink of war. On the desert world of Tatooine, an insurgency led by the mysterious Rain Bringers challenges the brutal rule of the Hutt Cartel. This rebel force, led by the elusive warlord known only as the Desert Drake, seeks to free Tatooine’s enslaved people and dismantle Hutt dominance.

Little is known about the Desert Drake, save that he is a former gladiator slave whose rise to power has ignited a fierce guerilla war. For a time, the Republic ignored the conflict, viewing it as a distant struggle. But the war has now spilled into Republic space, with violent skirmishes and terror attacks forcing the Senate to intervene.

Desperate to prevent an all-out war, the Republic has called for a peace summit on the neutral planet of Naboo. Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Senator Padmé Amidala have been dispatched to mediate between the Hutts and the Rain Bringers. However, the identity of the Desert Drake remains a mystery, as tensions rise and the fate of Tatooine—and the Republic—hangs in the balance...

Years after a failed attempt by the Trade Federation to blockade Naboo, the Tatooine Free Fleet bursts out of the desolate, forgotten planet to blockade Geonosis in retaliation, unheralded, undefeated, and utterly unwilling to negotiate.

Obi-Wan Kenobi, eager to try the diplomatic solution, offers himself as a hostage to try and bring them to the negotiating table. Instead, he finds a desperate community of freedmen, a cause worth fighting for, and the most astounding Force anomaly that the Jedi may have ever witnessed.

    Summary

Vader quickly composed himself, the Force pulsating in tandem with his ragged breaths. Next, he would liberate the slaves of Mos Espa, and they would storm the palaces of the Hutt crime lords Gardulla and Jabba. They would burn those disgusting hovels to the ground, and he would personally dispatch Gardulla and Jabba himself. Not just for the crime of slavery—he had never forgotten the burning lashes of Gardulla’s whippings, or Jabba’s violation of his precious daughter. He would deliver retribution tenfold, and those beasts would die screaming.

    -

Vader dies and wakes up once more as Anakin Skywalker. He has a destiny, sure, and a Sith lord to kill--again--but more importantly, slavers to butcher and slaves to free. He starts with Tatooine, but it doesn't end there. Padmé and Obi-Wan get swept up along the way.

Had Anakin truly been this thin, this malnourished and sickly, when he first arrived at the Temple? Had his clothes always been so ill-fitting and threadbare, his boots barely holding together?

And had none of them—not one of their twelve—recognized his circumstances and offered him compassion?

    -----

One moment, Mace watches in horror as Anakin betrays the Jedi Order and becomes a Sith Lord.

The next, he finds himself at the Temple a decade before the start of the war, and encounters a half-starved nine-year-old boy in threadbare clothing.

Or, Mace Windu has a chance to redo the first meeting between himself and Anakin Skywalker and takes the opportunity to make things right.

The Guides is a long and varied story, but sometimes, I wish to write shorter, snappier scenes that pop into my head at random while working on the bigger installments. This work will function as a collection for all such snippets, one-shots, and other such things, showing smaller moments out of the vast legend that the Guides will span. Tales of romance, horror, triumph, tragedy, humor, wonder, or the simple mundane. Of main characters, side characters, and background characters, this will be a place to tell a tale of all.

To note, none of these stories are what I consider to be strictly canon to the main story line unless stated otherwise, but will be canon compliant to the state of the story as it existed in the moment they were written, unless, again, stated otherwise. So, let me weave a bit of magic, and build you a mythos of tales here that may or may not be true, one story at a time.

    Summary

What if Anakin Skywalker chose differently?

Order 66 still fell like a blade—but Anakin didn’t. Though the Jedi Temple burned, he made a fateful choice that changed the course of galactic history. Padmé lives, not only as the mother of Luke and Leia, but as a protector to a dozen surviving Jedi Younglings. Hidden survivors rise. Broken alliances realign. Mandalore unites once more under a Jedi Mandalore. And on the sands of Tatooine, the oppressed begin to break their chains.

The galaxy is scarred, but not defeated. The future is no longer written in darkness.

    Summary

When Luke Skywalker—operating under the name of Luke Lars—accepts a job offer from none other than Darth Vader to become the next Head Engineer aboard his flagship, The Executor, a.k.a. The Lady, he hardly expected his life to take as much of a turn as it did.

Learning how to navigate his way through the microcosm of culture that is the Lady, Luke finds that life is far from quiet in his new home. Friendships and rivalries are made, inventions and politics throw everything into disarray, and throughout it all, Luke and Vader slowly find themselves drawn closer to each other, much to the relief and awe of many of the Lady's crewmembers.

Follow our favorite engineer from the twin suns as he goes from strangers, to friends, to adoptive family with his mysterious new mentor, and changes the face of the galaxy forever in the process. There are mysteries about the past to be unraveled, inventions to be made, wars to be fought, and family bonds to be forged in the fires of revolution and rebellion.

They say that Darth Vader has no heart, that the Empire and its Emperor are eternal, that the Jedi are dead and gone, and that nothing will ever change.

"They" have obviously never met Luke Skywalker before.

    Summary

“Knighted you shall be, Anakin Skywalker,” Yoda said, his voice trying to be calm and wise, but it only grated on Anakin's nerves. “A general, the Republic needs. Lead a battalion of clones, you will.”

Anakin stared at Yoda, then at the other Masters. His gaze fell on Obi-Wan, who sat in his new seat, looking all calm and collected, as if nothing about this situation was strange or wrong. The Council, the Republic, the clones, the war—it was all barreling ahead like a speeder with no brakes, and no one seemed to think that maybe, just maybe, they were heading straight for disaster.

The silence stretched, the air thick with tension. The Council waited for his response. They expected him to jump at the chance to become a Jedi Knight, a general who will lead troops into battle to save the Republic, at that. Once upon a time, he would have jumped at the chance of being the hero.

    But now, is not then.

“Yeah, no,” Anakin finally said, bored out of his mind.

This is not a rewrite of the series, but a compilation of all its parts in one place for those who prefer reading the entire story in a single, organized document. I’ve also polished the original chapters, and I hope you enjoy them.

You might want to buckle up, baby.

Obi-Wan had always been taught that Lost Jedi were to be mourned, pitied, perhaps even feared. To actually become one would be, well, a fate worse than death.

Nobody had warned him that he might actually enjoy it.

The Clone Wars have ended. A tentative peace has broken out, although not without some surprises along the way. Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Ahsoka have voluntarily left the Jedi Order, and are on their way to Kamino to investigate the mystery of the clones’ strange behavior…
