Bernard had started asking questions. So many questions that Tim couldn’t answer without telling him about Red Robin, about all of them. And that was a secret Tim swore to take to his grave.

Tim sighs, just like he has for the past five minutes. Coffee in hand and eye bags dark enough to be bruises, hair ruffled like he doesn’t know what a hairbrush is. Anyone paying close attention would notice the slow blinks, faint hand tremors, and slight swaying. All in all, a typical Thursday.
At least, that’s what it should be. But with three pairs of eyes staring him down like he personally wronged them, Tim’s starting to reconsider just how much of a typical Thursday this is.
Tim takes another long and slow sip of his, surprisingly still warm, drink.
“So…” Tim drawls. “Want to tell me why I’m being glared at like I killed Jason a second time?”

"I did it." Tim thought breathlessly, although that might be due to being kicked out of the window, 60 floors above the ground.
"Priorities, Tim," she reprimanded herself silently before returning to her internal monologue.
Where was I?
Oh yeah.
'I saved the people he loved. I saved everything he worked so hard to build.’
Tim smirked at the thought of Ra’s when she continued her internal monologue, ‘No compromises.’
And then her smirk dimmed at the thought of never seeing Bruce again.
Especially after everything she had been through these past two years trying to find evidence of where he was and how to bring him back from the timestream.
‘He won’t say anything, he never does. But I know. I know that Bruce will be proud of me.’
Timothea Janet Drake (Wayne) smiled one last time before she closed her eyes and sighed, content at the thought of finding peace, ‘Not a bad day.’

Summary
Put on a “break” by Bruce so Tim stays out of the way while the Wayne’s get things sorted with Jason’s return, Tim finds that without Robin life generally sucks. Jack and Dana are fighting, his dad’s drinking… Tim’s still dealing with trauma from being attacked at Titan’s Tower…
But then a classmate, Bernard, makes things kind of not suck, and then Bernard admits to him that he might have feelings for Tim. As in, more than just friendship feelings, and Tim.exe stops working for a bit because he had never thought of that before. But, now that he is, Tim can see it, too. But he’s never - he doesn’t - He’s not sure what this means.
Things come to an explosive head when he comes home, finding his dad waiting up for him, drunk and angry because someone had called him about seeing Tim and Bernard holding hands.
