Except, apparently, there's something more sinister going on beneath DI's shiny veneer. And now Tim's fighting for his life literally, not just metaphorically. Good thing the Bats are there to protect him. But why are these people so interested in his life? Seriously, don't they have better things to do? So long as Tim makes it out alive and the Bats never find out he knows their secret, everything will be fine. Too bad nothing ever goes right for Tim.OR
Tim Drake is a super badass CEO/detective/genius, but even the most resourceful of 16-year-olds needs some help when a crime lord wants them dead.

Summary
The melody danced over the dark stone, snatched away every now and then by a gust of chilly wind. A minute passed, two. Goosebumps shivered across Tim’s arms with the music, rising up his neck and down his spine.
He wanted to know what song Robin was whistling, why it was so sad. Was Robin sad? He didn’t usually seem sad, Tim thought. Angry, often, mean sometimes, but usually laughing and joking.
The whistling stopped, eaten up into silence by the cold night air.

Red Hood expected big explosions and noise, a villain that stopped taking his sweet time to put in action some new horrible plot for Gotham. What he didn’t expect was to find himself hooked on a bartender that made him return to the same place when his mind screamed too loud.

Jason learns that while Batman is cool and all Robins were made to fly by his side and find Hope in the echoes left behind.

Even as the stories and statements had differed from the ones of the first responders and doctors, the people that had tended to him on the next couple days; and the one of his parents, who had been glued to his hospital bed, sometimes talking to said doctors and sometimes stuck to their phones, unknowing of Tim’s inner turmoil; the conclusion he would come up with in his childish and unassuming mind would be that it hadn’t been his parents and both their neglect’s fault. That much had been obvious to him.
The conclusion had been clear as day: it had undisputedly been his very own fault.***

The only thing worse than crawling out of your own grave to find your father had replaced you with the first black haired, blue eyed preteen he could find, is said replacement begging you to sign emergency foster papers... except maybe you signing said papers and having to learn how to be a parent on the fly... Pero sobre todo, lo que volvía terriblemente loco a Conner era que Tim ya no era suyo.
Al menos sigue estando en su vida, es más de lo que pueden decir muchos.
