On the other hand is when I'm so far I can't even remember the name associated with my prison (and by extension, myself). Everything I know or think I might know feels so alien, and it might as well be a million miles away.?

I got high and had an identity crisis on my bathroom floor. This was the result. Essentially a vent fic but I skipped adding plot and characters and instead just… yolo.

He just shakes his head; like his nakedness, it’s something he can't explain. Steve nods, just nods, his eye swelling shut and blood drying on his shirt collar, and says "we’ll figure it out."
(An AU where Bucky is a young selkie who is accidentally called to Steve and ends up staying around to help this poor, wretched kid not die.)
