He was probably overreacting, but his anxiety was getting the better of him, and he just needed to get out of his head. Luckily, Cleo was there to drag him and Pearl together to do just that, and maybe even heal and find forgiveness for each other and themselves along the way.

In which Zedaph finds himself stuck in an unfortunate death loop at the hands of an unhappy void, the rest of the server is slow to react because of his general relationship with death in his work, and Zed, even after all of that, struggles with the idea of his friends worrying about him unnecessarily.
AKA. Mumbo said something in his last video about how if Zed ever got caught in a death loop no one would even notice because of the type of strange, death prone activities he's generally drawn too, and I went a little crazy about it.

Boomie shifted himself into a ready stance, summoning his axe in his left arm before preparing to charge in for the kill. He had everything planned out - he'd block the other man from dodging and simultaneously stop his momentum with his right arm against the wall, and he'd angle his axe with his left hand in just the right way to get the easiest cleave straight through Flame's chest.
It was a perfect plan. With what little time Flame had left, there was nothing the man could do to stop it. He'd accounted for every possibility he knew of.

She chips away at deepslate with her pickaxe, muttering anxiously to herself as she does so. The mine echoes her footsteps and the clunk of her pickaxe back into her ears, along with… something else.

Summary
The first few days after coming back from a death game are always the hardest.
Pearl is having an easier time with it than she did after Double Life, but she’s still struggling to adjust to her life on Hermitcraft. The sound of ticking clocks or the shimmer of enchanted items still makes her freeze up, and it takes several reminders from multiple Hermits before Pearl remembers she’s allowed to wear a helmet again.
Luckily, she’s not the only one in that position – all the other Limited Life hermits are experiencing the same problems. False jokes to Pearl a few days after they all get back that she can tell who played the death game by who’s wearing an incomplete set of armor. Pearl is glad to be able to laugh about it again, but she has the sinking feeling that she’s simply burying her trauma under bad jokes. Still, she can laugh off almost anything… except for storms.
or: A week after Limited Life, an unfortunately-timed server glitch leaves Gem and Pearl stranded outside in a hurricane.

Tallulah took the guitar fully out of the chest and sat down on the raised floor. She positioned the guitar on her lap and blew the stray curls away from her eyes as she looked at her brother.
"I want to surprise papa."
"You’re not answering my question."
She just huffed and watched as Chayanne walked next to her and plopped on the floor, opening his backpack and digging through its contents. He pulled out a couple of avocado toasts and leaned back, nodding towards the guitar.
"Gonna play?"
Tallulah nodded and tried to find a good way to position her clawed fingers on the strings without snapping them. She'd have to ask abuelito if he had any stray guitars stored in his plenty of backpacks.
She took a deep breath and played the first shaky note.
