I wanted to go to sleep but I had to read this. There were many excerpts I wanted to put here, but since I cant for some reason have many copied lines, I must confine myself to one. Or I have to trouble myself, which i will not since it is currently 1AM.

This line. There were, of course, many others but this one stabbed me quite in the chest since shang qinghua has there a special place. He was seven. A child with probably the mentality of one. What horrors and nightmare he must have lived with? Especially with the system that has been breathing down his neck every time he is about to do that would be plot changing....About yue qingyuan; I must say, dark. I love it really. His shizun was a very shitty person, the fact that shang qinghua even said that their relationship was eerily similar to that of su xiyan and the old palace master says quite a lot..! Also, 'a slab of meat for his exclusive use', is also very disturbing to describe the relationship. Let's do hope that there was no raping in yue qingyuan's relationship with his shizun..
I also like the lore of the others. Especially mu qingfang's. It does fit him; he is a doctor who must deal with many near deaths or deaths.. I suppose it is a self-defence mechanism against dissociation.... I'd rather have him think of people as dolls or animals than have him dissociate.................. I'm about to headcanon that
On the part of shen qingqiu, of course he would say something like that. He is not someone who would show his vulnerability to anyone, except to his jiejies, anymore, so why reveal his past as a slave? The abuse? Sexual abuse(depends on the writer)? What he had to endure under wu yanzi? The pain of thinking that his most closest person, that he dearly loves, never went back for him? Wait, that doesnt count- anyways, very clever to reveal that instead of all that was listed when he didnt want to show vulnerability...... dosnt mean that it was good though. He appears now even more scum than he really is:(
The system is quite frankly scary. It is something that dictates your moves, what you say, your life. The way it always breathes down shang qinghua's neck when he even just touches a subject that could reveal that he knows more than he should is terrifying. And the fucking fact that ot doesnt threaten with deductions of b-points but with shang qinghua's life... I mean, no need to go that far already... I always will find it unfair how lenient the system of shen yuan always was. Yes, there was an oc lock at first, but shen yuan was able to remove it quite quickly must I say. Also, I do not believe that shang qinghua didnt at least defy the system once, so I like to think that he did was the punishment protocol was to bad that he never did it again, which is why he takes the warnings very seriously. Oh, I just remembered, one must not only be terrified, one must also be very stressed when putting into a situation like that of shang qinghua. Being forced to share a secret when the system is right behind you while your peers are stressing you- he is lucky to only have said to want to fuck a demon. It could've really went bad- what if he said something plot changing or of something he should definantly have no knowledge of?! Chaos will erupt! The system will either kill him or does that punishment protocol! Either way, he will fall to the ground and that with peak lords that have just heard something life changing or crimes that he has committed. Oh my God, did I ever mention how much I love this? I'm gonna put this in a comment......... as a bookmark, certainly almost no one would ever read this so..............
