It was easy for him to think of himself as the height of grotesque and an absolute unredeemable deviant, that instrict came as naturally to him as breathing. It was well practiced in both the privacy of his darkest thoughts and in the screaming top of his head like a sloppy and hastily spackled plaster over all his other thoughts, just in case someone could tell what he was thinking about whether it be the person sitting in the other train car or God himself, that he acknowledged himself as a disgusting sinner before they could have the satisfaction of labeling him themselves.
_This is the third installment of the Larch series chronicling the life of and perspective of Edmund Pevensie throughout the years as he grows up as a gay kid in the 1930's-40's England (and Narnia). The last story, Meadow Sweet Fennel, followed him through school and Prince Caspian. This story focuses on Edmund in England, in Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and back to England.

He's okay. For a while. For a bit. For a day maybe. Except for the questions and the depression and...
First nature betrays him, then his mind, and then his body.
Ed is struck by lightning and he isn't okay, but that's okay.

"MmHm." Ed nodded. "Well, goodbye." He waved.
"Goodbye?" Ruth-Anne crossed her arms. "You sit that butt right back down, young man."
"Hm?" Ed's neck twitched left. "Oh. Yes, m'am." He swayed back towards them and stumbled over nothing on his way.
"Woah, woah, woah." Chris leapt up and grabbed Ed's arms, leading him back to the chair. "Easy, bud."
"Ed, a seizure?" Dr. Fleischman repeated. "A seizure? And you were just going to walk out of here like, what? Like nothing?"

Neal attempts to take a step towards Peter and stumbles. Peter quickly reaches out to catch him. “Neal? Neal? Answer me, please!”
