Tommy keeps staring. Something in his chest swells. He leans forward and wraps his arms around Rev.
There’s a slow clapping from the side, and Tommy immediately lifts his head from Rev’s coat. He looks to the side, only to find everyone staring at Cyber as he claps with a deadpan. “A very moving speech, Rev. Now, if the hugfest is done, can we think about what to do with the evil teletubby?”
Someone snorts. Someone outright laughs. Tommy is not sure who’s doing what. He just knows there’s a smile on his face. It doesn’t feel forced at all.
or: there are three weird travelers in Di'Essempi, and for some reason they seem pretty dead set on keeping an eye on Tommy and Ranboo (and Tubbo by proxy). Oh and they really don't like Dream apparently. Maybe someone should tell the admin to be careful who he makes himself the enemy of

“You ever think that our- they're just kids. They deserved better.” He knows that she knows who he is referring to. He just wants them to be safe, that’s all he has ever wanted – his friends and family to be safe.
Ran shifts, burying her face into the space between his good shoulder and neck. “You did what you could, Shinichi."
“I am always doing a headcount. I can never remember how many people I’m supposed to have, so I just keep counting. I don’t want to miss anyone,” he sighs. “I just want it to stop hurting.”

Shinichi comes back from his case, trauma and a bullet wound as souvenirs, and he does his best to rebuild his life after it had all fallen apart.
