Foggy gave an amused sort of hum and brushed his fingertips over the recently shorn hair above Matt’s ear. ‘Wow. Coming from me, that would just be a bit of silliness. From you though, I’m pretty sure it means you’re actually terrified?’
‘That is a definite possibility,’ Matt allowed.

Sam sat up quickly and spun around. Tom Cotton was making his way through the dappled shade of the copse, thumbs tucked low around his suspenders, a wide, easy smile lighting his face. Sam waved a greeting and then glanced down at his words laid out in the dirt. The song was in his head and his heart already - the bit that he'd finished anyway. He never forgot the words once he had them right. Still, there was a moment’s hesitation before he casually reached across and wiped away the imprint of his song on the soil. By the time Tom reached him there was nothing left to see.
Sam and Tom have always lived in Hobbiton. Lately, Sam has noticed that they also live in different worlds.

Summary
Post-season 1 of Moon Knight, it's a new age of the world, where the cosmic power balances are shifting. Steven, Marc, and Jake start meeting Avengers, making tentative connections and allies with the wider MCU, all while working on internal team-building efforts with each other.
Roughly follows the canon timeline in Phase Four, with some events rearranged so our guys can meet the characters before their movies happen. Gets more canon-divergent in Phase Five, as the little changes add up.

Official Avengers tips for when you find yourself working with a Moon Knight:
They're hard to get in touch with, but have a knack for showing up where they're needed, sent by the god Khonshu. If one of them is talking to someone you can't see, it's probably him.
They only have one magic shapeshifting suit to share between the three of them. Which is why you never get multiple Moon Knights on the same mission.
They're in some kind of polycule with the Scarlet Scarab. That thing you saw was fine, it wasn't anybody getting cheated on, it's completely negotiated and above-board.
They have a few completely inexplicable skills. Don't even bother asking questions. They'll blow you off with "look, the moon is just really mysterious like that."
A series of team-ups where Avengers notice weird things about the Moon Knights...and our guys have to decide whether to give them a(nother) cover story, or to add them to the (carefully curated, extremely short, but slowly growing) list of People We Trust With The Reveals.
