Summary
When he returned to the world of Summerland after the destruction of his old universe, Vanimórë's path crossed with a young man in need of protection. Now “David Balfour” is beginning his new life in St Andrews – but he cannot forget or escape the strange and terrible events that took place at the Lake Como villa over the summer, or the suspicions he has begun to entertain about his benefactor.
David soon finds himself making friends, rediscovering old passions, and settling into student life. However, playing a part is not easy, and his new friends have secrets of their own.

Summary
Stories of The House of Finwë, their followers, allies, descendants and friends, the Powers that shaped their lives, and their long fight against the dark.
My eventual plan is that this series will contain all sorts from fluffy gen to smut, humour to horror, half-drabbles to multi-chapter sagas. I have too many ideas to say if or when it will be finished, and everything I write seems to sow the seeds for six more projects. Most individual stories in the series will work as standalones; where that's not the case, the summary or notes will say so.
Wherever possible I've put things into chronological order; this isn't necessarily the order they were written in, but at least might help readers make sense of the timeline. Some fics, though, deal with events across several Ages, and I've unscientifically placed them wherever they seem to fit best.

Summary
A place for fics that don't sit in my main 'verse, or any of my other series. This might be because they diverge from the version of canon I usually use, and/or from any published version of canon altogether. In some cases it might be because they explore a different take on a character or relationship than my usual interpretation, or they might be based partly or wholly on canon not related to Middle-earth (NB: fics for The Father Christmas Letters live in my Sing We Now of Christmas series). Many of these were written for exchanges and prompt fests, which are brilliant for nudging me to think outside the box occasionally.
Things may come and go from the Mathom-house. I have plans to come back to some of these fics and explore the characters and scenarios further, so they may be grouped into a different series at some point in the future.
Marked as complete as the posted fics stand alone and are not interlinked.

A not-so-fictional Elf, a medieval town on the east coast of Scotland, and (occasionally ill-advised) undergraduate antics. Add a pinch of fluff and a dollop of angst, season to taste with musical theatre, shake well and enjoy.
(Translation: if you're purely here for the antics of Maglor and the St Andrews gang, this is where I've collected all those fics together.)
This series sits within my Maglor-in-history sequence The Wanderer, which in turn is part of my wider Noldor-centric 'verse, but it can be read as a set of interlinked stories in its own right.
