Summary
The credits had just begun to roll when Eddie noticed Buck playing with the hem of his dress, fingers grazing his thigh every couple of seconds, sending sparks through his skin. Eddie turned to face him, finding Buck staring down to where he was fiddling with the fabric.
A shiver went through Eddie as Buck’s fingers grazed his thigh again and Eddie nervously blurted, “What are you doing?”
Buck’s eyes flicked up to meet Eddie’s, looking slightly surprised, like he hadn’t been fully aware of his own actions.
“Nothing, you just– you look really pretty,” his fingers continued toying with the material as he spoke and Eddie felt his cheeks burn.
or
Eddie realizes he really likes to feel pretty, and Buck helps him through the complicated feelings that come along with that.

Summary
Eddie doesn’t rush towards the mirror. He’s—apprehensive. This could be a very weird, very vivid dream. That’s the easiest answer, except he pinches himself and it does nothing but make his wrist smart. Not a dream he can wake himself up from like that, Eddie decides. After standing in the middle of the closet, Eddie cautiously makes his way towards the bathroom and the mirror.
It’s Buck. Of course, the person in the mirror is Buck.
Christopher is gone for the summer and Eddie is—aimless. Drifting. Everything is different, and he can't fix any of it, much less himself. He wishes he were different. Someone that doesn't have as much baggage, or misery, or so much empty time on his hands.
Naturally, he wakes up one morning as Buck.

Summary
“I don’t think that’s a good idea, mate,” says a voice Buck can safely say he has never heard before, though it sounds inexplicably like Matty Healy, frontman of The 1975.
“What the fuck,” he breathes, heart thumping loudly in his ears. “H-hello?”
“Down here, dipshit,” his kettle says. Buck stares. “Yep. You’re looking right at me, clever guy.”
Numbly, he says, “What. What? What.”
“Jesus Christ, man.” His kettle whistles quietly, like it’s sighing. “This is pathetic. Find your equilibrium.”
“Why are you British?” he blurts.
“Oh, fuck off.”
Whispering, Buck asks, “Why are you mean?”
Or: Buck's kettle suddenly gains sentience.

Summary
Buck keeps him everywhere. He’s smuggling him into every inch left vacant, because like this, he doesn’t lose him, won’t lose him. Like this, he gets to keep Eddie forever, even if it’s just the pieces and the memories attached. The reminder of him will haunt him and this apartment like a ghost. Because Buck can’t trap him in his apartment and force him to stay, he’d never ask that, couldn’t ask that, but he’s going to damn well do his best to salvage it in some form. He’s kidnapping Eddie’s shadow, no matter how much it hurts, and there’s no choice about it.
Eddie announces he’s leaving. Buck, naturally, begins a slow descent to madness.
[ALT. summary: Buck has resolved to be the greatest friend ever. He’s handling this move so well. And not at all being abnormal about Eddie’s house. Or Eddie’s belongings. Or, well. Eddie.]
