Summary
Buck doesn’t hesitate, doesn’t warn him—just lifts his hand and pricks the needle into the back of it.
Eddie barely has time to register the movement before a sudden sting blooms across his skin. His body jerks in an instinctive flinch, breath hitching as he stares down at the back of his hand in disbelief. A tiny bead of blood wells up, vivid against his skin.
What the fuck? His head snaps up to the screen, heart hammering. Buck is ghost-pale, his breathing uneven, wide eyes locked onto Eddie’s reaction. There’s a flicker of shock, then something like confirmation.
Buck lifts his own hand, a matching red bead of blood on the back of it. The pieces slot into place.
Eddie swallows hard, his pulse pounding in his ears. Buck looks scared.
“Eddie—our bodies are linked.”
or: the one where buck and eddie's bodies are linked and they end up sharing injuries and... other things.

Summary
He feels his face tilt into a grin, and he claps his hands together as he grins wider and wider by the second, “Oh, John, you’ve surpassed my expectations. Oh, you’re—that’s genius. Oh, how didn’t I think of that?”
“Gee, thanks,” John mutters, still bashful despite his feigned exasperation.
“I’ll kiss you, then.”
John drops a spoon.

Summary
When Eddie wakes, it’s to Buck’s arm slung across his chest, Buck’s ankle hooked over his, and Buck’s erection pressing into his hip.
Two out of three of those aren’t unusual.
It’s six weeks since the lightning. Five weeks and two days since Buck woke up. Four weeks and three days since he was released from hospital. Four weeks exactly since he came home, came to stay at the Diaz house while he recuperates, like he should have from the start.
It’s been three weeks and four days since they started sharing the bed.
or: Buck hasn't gotten off since the lightning strike. Eddie watches him do something about it.
