  1. Summary

Or the one where the author says fuck it and throws out the epilogue to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and takes the trouble to give the protagonist a better ending than that marital nightmare.

And in this house we totally and completely deny the miserable existence of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. And we disapprove JK's disgusting transphobia, of course.

    Summary

Aoi raised her hands in surrender. “I know. I'm not trying to prove you're dating the Drifter. I just got the vibe that you might. That's all.”

He stared at his food. “Well, I'm not.”

Silence descended upon them. Far from relaxing him, it only served to wound him up tighter. He knew when a storm was coming; the wait was, in his humble opinion, worse than the destruction it wrought.

Thankfully, Aoi didn't leave him to his misery for long.

“But you do like them,” she said.

    ---

Arthur's afraid that his bond with the Drifter will get in the way of his duties. But when a mission goes wrong and his misguided sense of responsibility threatens to split the Hex apart, it ends up becoming the very thing that saves them.

    Summary

The song he sang was loud, commanding, with an edge of danger enshrouding it. A sweet sound she couldn’t pull away from, wouldn’t pull away from. Something that even the whispers of void within her couldn’t resist- no matter how much her brain screamed otherwise.
