Summary
It has been eleven years since the Goblin uprising led by Ranrok and Victor Rookwood. Eleven years since the discovery of the final repository and Faustine Stolas' rise to status of Keeper. Eleven years since she turned in her best friend Sebastian Sallow for the murder of his uncle. Faustine has been appointed new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. Joining Ominis Gaunt as a professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At the start of the new year, she is nervous and wary yet excited to go back to her alma mater to teach the next generation of witches, wizards, and magicians. Until, Sebastian Sallow makes his prompt return at Hogwarts after over ten years in Azkaban as the other Defense Against the Dark Arts professor. Faustine will have to maintain her professionality when working together with the boy-turned-man she once sent off to face the consequences of his actions. A new dawn rises at Hogwarts School for Wizardry, overshadowed by the unforgivable and inescapable throes of the past. Can the trio overcome what was and find their way back to each other? Summary
Despite having heard Snape offering his help to Malfoy in whatever conspiracy he's involved in, Harry and Hermione find out it's still not enough to expose Malfoy. So, they, frustrated, employ some underhanded methods.
Daphne, in the continuation of her resolve to be more open with her friends, invites them to her family home in USA, the same nation where the Blacks are currently living in under a disguise. They are approached by an old friend.
Dumbledore shares further information about Tom Riddle with Harry and Hermione, although he never lets on how he injured his own right arm. Moreover, someone (Malfoy, if you ask Harry and Hermione) is hellbent on killing him but he's unbothered like usual.
Harry and Hermione go for becoming Animagi but hijinks ensue. Now Hermione's bonded to a beast that happens to be the most vicious and mysterious of them all.
Everything comes to a heart-stopping conclusion in the end that turns the whole Wizarding World upside down.
