Summary
Techno hadn't noticed when it started, but just a few days ago he started noticing how Tommy pulled away from them. Since they had adopted him at the age of 9 he hadn't ever pulled away again, always stayed by their side and told them what was going on if he felt unwell, but now five years later he was back to his old habbits it seemed, for whatever reason.
Phil was worried for his Sons. He saw how Tommy had pulled back the last few days since the trip with his best friends, he had let them go camping for two days but now he regret it. Tommy told him everything had gone great, but he could tell it was a lie because if nothing happened he wouldnt be pulling away from them.
Tommy was just happy to have his alone time. This was his problem and his alone, it didn't matter that Tubbo and Ranboo had been there with him when they found out, but he couldn't risk it. Techno and Phil couldn't know, not until Tommy finally found a solution for this problem of his.

He passed an instrument store. Tommy used to play the piano. He had a pretty good mentor, she would always praise him whenever he learned a new piece. There were violins too, and majestic harps. Choir kids at his old school would freeze starstruck at this place as if it were paradise.
Tommy was about to leave when he heard..something.
It was a sound he hasn't heard in ages. It's a sound coming from the buried recesses of his mind, decades back, echoing in a chapel, or when he passes by the music room where all the band kids practice for the festival; their eyes were tired yet their inspiration always outweighed.
