His voice reverberated in the silent apartment. In another world, he may have been the one to beg for this, for his mom to allow him to continue at UA. But this was different, there was already another factor at play.–

“Everything ok?” Buck looked up and saw a guy in a uniform. US Navy.
“Uh, ye- yeah. All- all good.” Buck hated that he stuttered when he was nervous.
“Wanna try again for a more believable answer?” The guy gave him a small smile. “I'm Petty Officer First Class Ryan. I work at the recruitment station over there. Ever thought about enlisting?”
“I just … ran out of gas.” Buck admitted, blushing when his stomach rumbled. It'd only been a day since he ate last. Two, but he was trying to trick his body into thinking it had only been one.
“How about I buy you lunch, you let me tell you a bit about the Navy, and if you're not interested, I help you get a few bucks for gas?”
“I don't need a handout.” Buck ducked his head.

What was originally a Vampire stealth mission needed to infiltrate the Seoul base turns into Jimin needing to choose between his mission, and telling the man he loves the truth before love gets him killed.
