Summary
Stanley Pines has just stolen his brother's identity, his life, and his greatest project for the chance to bring him back and atone for his mistakes. However, the presence of an ancient skeletal demon with large antlers is stalking from the forest, claiming the lives of the townspeople. Only one person seems to know what the creature is and how to stop it, but Fiddleford does not know who Stan really is and refuses to collaborate with him after Ford expels him from his life any longer. He distrusts that "Stanford" is totally honest with him, but he can't help but feel attracted to this personality so different from the one he knew.

Stanley could hear the shared fright in his voice, and reached his hand out to grab the rope as Ford swung it again. The rope flew through the air, and Stan clutched Fiddleford’s arm in preparation to pull, his arm already sinking into the portal.
“Stanley!”
Ford never did have good aim.
