Vi tilts the bowl down into her mouth, finishing off the rest of her food before hopping down and heading over to their medicine cabinet.
“What if,” Vi stops for a moment, struggling to find the right words, “for a month we just… tried to be a couple. See what it’s like. See if it works.”
Caitlyn watches Vi move. She watches the way Vi’s throat bobs, how she sways from the balls to the heels of her feet in contemplation and foreign anxiety. Her regular suave suddenly missing.
“And if it doesn’t?” Caitlyn leaves the door open, saying ‘if’ as opposed to ‘when’. She’s not sure whether or not it’s on purpose and if she says it for Vi’s or her own sake.
“We go back to normal,” Vi says, finally meeting Caitlyn’s eyes through her thick lashes. “It can be a funny story I tell your kids one day.” Vi finishes it off with a sweet smile. Caitlyn won’t laugh at the suggestion, Vi knows she won’t, not with the way she knows she’s looking at Caitlyn right now.
Caitlyn mulls over it, her eyebrows furrowing in concentration. Vi already wants to smooth them over.\=/

Yet, there was nothing.Time fixed his jaw in frustration, stifling its predominance. He knew that Twilight was hurting in some way. Twilight was always extremely well spoken, receiving multitudes of praise and compliments for his outstandingly considerate usage of words and his constant politeness. Never was there silence.
OR
Time accidentally does something that upsets Twilight greatly, he doesn't realize his mistake until much after. He also doesn't realize that the damage was already done.

"Mm." Spencer's eyes are still closed, his hands fumbling in the dark until they find the hem of Derek's shirt and slip underneath it. "Y'r warm."

He never wanted Jason to feel like Dick did – like Bruce was his only ally in the world. And if he didn’t have Bruce, he didn’t have anyone. Despite all the bullshit Dick was going through at the time with Bruce, he tried so hard not to take that out on Jason. Why is it never remembered that way? Why is he the villain in every other Robin’s story? It’s like his siblings can never remember that he was a kid once, too. Even as Nightwing. When Dick was nineteen, he’d been juggling leading a team of superheroes and attempting to mend his relationship with the foster father who fired him and adopted his replacement. Meanwhile, Jason at nineteen slit Tim’s throat, just to make a point.
