When secrets he never thought possible were revealed, and he is met with the cruelty his choice led to, he will wish he had destroyed it as soon as the Season began. But he cannot turn back the clock- at least not here, where lands he thought he knew are twisted, and people whose faces he'd never forget are warped. How many lives did he meddle with? How many did he ruin?
Meanwhile Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo all get a much-needed break. Who knew farmwork, taking in the local sights, and meeting up with 'old' friends would be just what they needed to stave off the stress that had been building up for months!

The woods behind his base were just what he'd come out to experience. He walked down the carefully laid path, smiling at the serenity he felt.
Xisuma was so caught up in the peacefulness of his surroundings that he almost missed the body.

Besides, at this point I’m so used to flying with you, it’d be strange not to have you by my side.”

Mumbo reached him inside the cage before eyes erupted from everywhere outside the bars and they all pinned him in a glare and Grian faced him and his face was eyes too. Then he changed and looked like the Grian that Mumbo knew, but it was like all the life had been scraped out of him, and his dead eyes looked through Mumbo as if he wasn’t even there.
AKA a harmless experiment on the Rift between worlds goes terribly wrong, and Mumbo and crew have to figure out how to get their favorite avian back from the Watchers, but the End Deities have a few surprises up their sleeves

"Grian! you have to meet these two lovely people that just appeared out of no-where!" he heard Scar call out to him, once he faced the proper way to see what he was talking about. Scar was startled to see the glass slip from his friends hand and onto the floor. "Grian? are you ok? you don't look well pal.." However words fell on deaf ears as Grian looked at the two men looking at him with the look he dreaded seeing ever again, "Hi again--Gree-on" he stared at the face of his past friend before answering "W..what-- How did you?.. Why are you here?!"

“How do I know?” The kid spits, knife raised again, trembling violently. His eyes are wet, angry and pleading and piercing right down into Grian’s soul.
“...If I can fly?” Grian asks, confused. His heart is beating fast.
The boy shakes his head violently, taking a lurching step forward, now only a few feet away. Something about his eyes almost seems familiar, but the thought is fleeting. The knife looks sharp. The child is crying, slow tears that barely have an effect on his voice.
“No,” the kid says forcefully. “How do I know you’re not a zombie?”
OR,
A young Scar fresh from a world overtaken by zombies stumbles through The Rift onto Hermitcraft, and is quickly adopted by the rest of the Hermits, who have no idea who he actually is.
An older Scar grapples with a past that he'd rather forget, all while trying to avoid the version of himself he left behind a long time ago. -

A static-y noise became apparent. Coming from Scar’s feet. The two of them looked down. Wrapping around Scar’s foot tightly, was.. was the void.
An odd description, Grian will admit, but there wasn’t any other word he could think of. A disgustingly familiar purple glow shimmered out of the void.
It had stars, filled to the brim with magic– banned magic Grian might add!
Before Scar or Grian could say anything, the void creature thingy, whatever it was, tugged on Scar, he slipped backwards, into the rift cave.
Something got to him before Grian did. Shoot.
Or
Grian clicks a button, him and Scar get dragged into the rift. After some mix up with a creeper, Scar and Grian now are seen as villains by this city. (And have a criminal record)
They do more vigilante work than villain work. But, all the while they have a great vacation!

The room reset. Silence pressed down.
Grian’s chest ached. His fingers ached. His mind raced. The script had changed. The higher-ups were no longer satisfied with the old protocols. He pulled the purple paper from his pocket, examining the Watcher Eye. Its fractal iris shifted subtly, alive. It was guidance, a warning, a code to follow and he would have to adapt.
The next file floated to the top of the stack. Another Hermit. Another test. Another trial under the suffocating gaze. Grian pressed the paper back into his coat. For a long moment, he closed his eyes and let himself shiver. Then, shaking, he reached for the next sheet.

Strange things happening on the Hermitcraft Server lead Xisuma to suggest that the Hermits evacuate through a portal to a new server temporarily whilst he sorts things out. But what’s this? It seems the Hermits have unknowingly arrived in a new game of Life, Power Life.
In Power Life, you are randomly assigned a special ability, these abilities can range wildly in usefulness. But you are also given a set amount of lives that corresponds to the usefulness of the ability. Those with the most useful abilities will have just 2 lives. And those with the least useful abilities will have 6 lives. You are able to transfer these lives to others as a form of currency. You won’t know the specifics of your powers immediately but you will know how many lives you have and for some of you it will be obvious. Others may have to do some testing.
Furthermore, every day one of the non-Red players will be assigned as the boogeyman. Although there is a possibility that more than 1 will be chosen. This player must kill another non-Red by the end of the day or be put on their final life. With that out of the way, let’s get in to Power Life.

But this guy was crazy, since he didn’t know about zombies, so maybe he wouldn’t even notice. The question was what would Scar do once he had a crazy guy to take care of. Oh, whatever. He was lonely.
The boy shook his head, though. “No. I don’t get to run away.” There was a sharpness to his voice. “He’ll come looking for me, and drag me right back.”
Scar is in the middle of a horrible, terrifying apocalypse- and has been since he was young. But what happens when he leaps into a weird portal, as a last resort, and finds himself in the wonderful world of a Japanese High School?
Grian, or Taurtis, according to his “friends”, would beg to differ about the key word “wonderful” in that sentence.
So what happens when Scar figures out why?
