When secrets he never thought possible were revealed, and he is met with the cruelty his choice led to, he will wish he had destroyed it as soon as the Season began. But he cannot turn back the clock- at least not here, where lands he thought he knew are twisted, and people whose faces he'd never forget are warped. How many lives did he meddle with? How many did he ruin?
Meanwhile Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo all get a much-needed break. Who knew farmwork, taking in the local sights, and meeting up with 'old' friends would be just what they needed to stave off the stress that had been building up for months!

“How do I know?” The kid spits, knife raised again, trembling violently. His eyes are wet, angry and pleading and piercing right down into Grian’s soul.
“...If I can fly?” Grian asks, confused. His heart is beating fast.
The boy shakes his head violently, taking a lurching step forward, now only a few feet away. Something about his eyes almost seems familiar, but the thought is fleeting. The knife looks sharp. The child is crying, slow tears that barely have an effect on his voice.
“No,” the kid says forcefully. “How do I know you’re not a zombie?”
OR,
A young Scar fresh from a world overtaken by zombies stumbles through The Rift onto Hermitcraft, and is quickly adopted by the rest of the Hermits, who have no idea who he actually is.
An older Scar grapples with a past that he'd rather forget, all while trying to avoid the version of himself he left behind a long time ago. -

I really like this! It's an alternative timeline where Grian gets sent to deal with Grian from an alternate timeline. Fun. I found it really unsatisfying that Grian and Mumbo just tossed their precious robot son into a box and shimmied on over to the next season. I love Grumbot. He's so sweet. Justice for Grumbot.

The shadowy figure was dripping wet, dark wingtips dragging along the grass from exhaustion as they approached. He wore an eyepatch—just a rough, bloody strip of fabric tied around his head and matted into damp, muddy curls.
The red sweater was ripped and stained with a brown substance, the wings tattered with broken white feathers sticking out at odd angles.
Scar felt his mouth go dry and his insides tense in fear. “G… Grian?” What was wrong with him?
The figure took another step forward before latching onto the front of Scar’s shirt with dirty fingers. His remaining, red-tinted eye looked deep into Scar’s, like it was trying to see his soul.
“You’re not my Scar, are you?” He said.

Summary
The Watchers are dying out, but they grip onto a prophecy that might save them all.
Grian had been transformed into a Watcher, but he wants nothing to do with them.
Scott doesn't want to step up to his godly duties, and wants to be the player that he'll never fully be able to be.
Xisuma steps up to be an admin despite his past constantly threatening to rip him apart in more ways than one.
This is a compilation of stories that connects the different Life Series with Hermitcraft, and Empires into one storyline, through too many POVs. The series is in chronological order of what to read, but posting the rest of the series may take a while to do.
