Summary
Nine years ago, Micah was drugged and raped by a woman who wanted to 'fix' him. In 1899, whilst out scouting with Lenny, Micah runs into her again, along with her eight-year-old son. Micah kills her, but not before learning that the boy is his son. Against Micah's wishes, Lenny takes the boy, George, back to camp, forcing Micah to accept the child exists. The adjustment period is far from easy, but Micah gradually warms up to his son, especially after he discovers that his son is trans - because he learns that both he and George were hurt by the boy's mother to make them 'normal'. And Micah doesn't know how to be a father, but his attempts to be better than his own dad slowly redeem him, the gang beginning to like Micah more. Even Arthur warms up to Micah, which is fine by Micah, who has been sweet on Arthur for months. And when George learns that his father and Arthur like each other, he wants his Papa to finally have a happy relationship.
A parent AU that diverges from canon in chapter 2.
