    “Whatever you were.” Andrew stubs his cigarette out on the step between his feet. “Whatever we were going to be if your father hadn’t disemboweled you.”

Except for the fact that Neil doesn't feel like he belongs - in his boyfriend's penthouse suite OR their relationship. Whereas Andrew and Kevin are perfect, he just...isn't.

    Maybe it's the way Andrew and Kevin literally picked him up off the street and swept him into the comforts of their world. Maybe it's the large, looming secret that hangs over his head, shadowing his every move. Maybe it's because he can't even stand to look at himself in the mirror, so why would anyone else?

    Or maybe it's because he knows he's nothing...and he's just waiting for them to figure it out too.
