Summary
Shadow is an immortal being, living across millennia and seeking out his mate with each reincarnation cycle, to love, protect and hopefully have the happy life that they always dreamed of, yet things didn’t quite turn out as planned… both because across the many life times, Sonic always had to play hero and because Shadow came into his own brand of quiet heroics. Yet as Shadow stood in Mobius’ reformed royal court, and became its knight no less, the cycle turns once again, and the Hybrid’s lover soon reappears and faces new challenges that the pair have to work through together.

Summary
The raid on Gerald's lab doesn't go according to plan, as Maria and Shadow escape and in the ensuing chaos Shadow saves her life before the eyes of stunned soldiers, proving that his powers at least are more than a tool for war, that they are a tool that can heal as much as harm.
Cue the training of Shadow to learn how to save more lives as the Ultimate Lifeform becomes the Ultimate Healer alongside Maria, as the pair still refuse to be parted, not that G.U.N want to do that any more as the bond between the girl and her alien hedgehog grows deeper than even the pair themselves realise.
Shadow decides that he's never leaving Maria's side, no matter what happens.

Summary
Sonic, the crowned prince of Mobius was no stranger to the concept of the fact that he’d never get to choose who he was to one day mate with. Even if he hates it. Worse still, on the day that Sonic was going to make a break for his own freedom, his family are shuttled to the foreboding worlds of the Black Arms Empire, as Sonic’s mother, Queen Aleena struck a deal with the new Black Arms’ Emperor for the sake of the worlds of Mobius. The price of that agreement? Sonic’s body. The prince’s worst nightmare, the lack of freedom from such a union makes him want to hurl and the worst part… The worst part is Sonic is expected to father the Emperor’s litters, to be little more than a breeding stud to the Black Arms. Even worse, Sonic’s never leaving Black Comet until the day he dies.
Shadow fought with everything he had to stop Black Doom, to prevent the former Emperor from wreaking more destruction… So when the hive presses for him to take on an Imperial Consort, he reluctantly agrees, on the grounds that he wants someone who is able to keep up with him and not without their free will. Cue Sonic and Shadow meeting, and finding out that sometimes… you can indeed find love in the weirdest of places.Series

The intense pain from his ankle tears him from thoughts, letting him hiss out in pain, seeing the barely drops of blood run down his ankle, creating a puddle under his worn out shoe.
Oh boy, this is NOT good-
"See 'ya worn out you little blue devil."
Sonic looks up at Crazy Carl, frowning.
He didn't know what that word meant. "Devil." He just thought it was some cunning nickname. Like how Crazy Carl is called, well, Crazy Carl. Or how his favorite person he calls Donut Lord.
Then his stupid curiosity got the best of him, looked through a dictionary, and needless to say, he does not like it.
