“Relax, Officer Nox. I’m your guy to fix them… well, your girl. You know what I mean. I just need a few parts and tools...” Her smile widened, though she hesitated for a moment. The truth was, she didn’t want to go back to her workshop… although she did want to help this sexy cop, wait, sexy?
“Are you serious?” The officer’s hand moved quickly to grab Powder’s. “You have no idea how much I’d appreciate that. The assembly workshop isn’t far. We can drop these off and then go there, you’ll find everything you need.”
Powder hesitated a moment, looking at their interlaced hands, but eventually jumped to her feet, extending her arms to her sides and flashing a wide, toothy grin. “Great then! What are we waiting for? Lead the way, Officer Nox!”
The officer let out a small laugh at her strange enthusiasm and lifted the box with the devices. “By the way, I don’t know where the ‘Nox’ came from, but my name is Caitlyn.”
“Of course it is, Caitlyn Kiramman.” She raised a hand to her forehead in a mock salute while laughing. “I’m Powder, at your service.” She bowed dramatically, raising her hands as if lifting the hem of a dress.Bookmarked by VtrCst

“‘Take care of her,’” Jinx finally whispers into the darkness of the room. Caitlyn’s eyes pop back open, and she stares at Jinx questioningly. “That’s what Vi said… before she… before she let go,” she answers, her voice trembling at the end. Swallowing hard, Caitlyn’s eyes fills with grief and tears. She looks away and hastily wipes at them. “Figured the least I could do was make sure you didn’t die tripping over a carpet,” Jinx mumbles, making a poor attempt at a joke. Caitlyn nods, tries to speak, but a sob is all that comes out. She covers her mouth and turns away.

S2E9 alternate ending: inspired by the early concept art of Vi falling instead of Jinx. In the wake of Vi's death, Jinx and Caitlyn must both learn how to move on without her. Forging new lives with new friendships. While Caitlyn is slowly swallowed up by grief and guilt, Jinx remains determined to honor her sister's dying wish. It may not be easy, but maybe both of them can find a way out of this together. If they don't kill each other first.
