Summary
The new probie is a mystery wrapped up in a contradiction wrapped in another mystery. Friendly and overbearing yet completely reserved. Trying to figure him out is like getting stuck in a revolving door that never slows down enough to let you get through the opening. And so far, he’s garnered them a net zero on profits two weeks in. The money box and accompanying notebook sat untouched in Hen’s locker.
In which Buck comes to the 118 with a more complicated history, one he is determined to hide. They still somehow become a family.

Summary
The labour had come on quickly. Mary was practically crowning by the time they were four minutes from the hospital. He'd taken his hand from her shoulder to take the next turn at speed.
"Just wait a minute, little one!" She'd begged her bump.
Her body replied with another contraction, John couldn't hold back a laugh, "God, they're a stubborn little bastard!"
The descriptor had soured over the years, reverence traded for frustration; on particularly bad days, contempt. Sam shrivelled when he heard it, shoulders curling. But he is.Sam Winchester is stubborn, right down to a molecular level it turns out. It changes everything.

Summary
“I’m warning you, man. You so much as look at him the wrong way and you’re done here. I don’t care what anyone says.”
Jon’s breath is hot on Steve’s chin, his eyes a little feral, face pinched. And they are both standing in the alley behind the theatre and Steve’s rotten core has just spilled out between them. Queer echoing off the walls caging them.
“Jon, I know what I— I don’t… It’s Will, man, I—” He doesn’t think Jonathan would appreciate him saying he loved him. Doesn’t think he has the right. Has already encroached on too much.
“Harrington,” Jon warns sharply, and Steve feels the ghost of a fist against his cheek, the phantom of his elbow landing on the ground first, followed by shoulder and head.
“I don’t have a problem with it. Swear, man. I’m not…” not like that anymore. He can’t finish. Doesn’t have the conviction to finish it.
.....Will comes out. Everything falls apart. Happy Fucking Christmas.

Summary
Steve Harrington thinks he might be dead. He stares at the complexion of the boy in the mirror and thinks that maybe he didn't make it out of the upside down after all. The For list is certainly longer than the Against list. The idea doesn't seem so unlikely after everything he's seen these last few years. Adds himself to the pile of bodies that has been steadily growing in his periphery. A fly lands on the mirror and he thinks of the moniker that got thrown around the middle school before it was tossed around the high school. Little Will Byers. Zombie boy. Says it aloud to the fly.
"Zombie Boy."
The words sit too comfortably on his tongue to be anything but true. Steve Harrington is dead and he is so incredibly fucked.

Summary
Set some time after 5x10 but canon divergence before 5x11.
He thinks maybe this is purgatory. And the day behind them was dea- destruction and all the days that lay in wait for them outside of that door are hell. Living hell. Hell because they are living.
An accident on the job brings the world crashing down and then Buck's scattered family back together, if only he was there to see it.
