Will Graham grew up with a hunter father and was trained to aid hunters with information and weapons rather than hunt himself.
He meets Dean Winchester at the age of 12 when they coincidentally started moving to the same schools as each other every few months - they're made to watch out for each other when their fathers begin working the occasional hunt together.
In their freshman year they end up working together to hunt a ghost in their school and as a result become reluctant partners and friends.

Midoriya Izuku went missing for a week and turned up in a back alleyway with skills he's never even heard of and no memory of how he came by them.
