Summary
It’s Dad’s turn to speak after Ana tosses him a confused look, facing Christopher with that classic dad look that says he’s going to treat this like a phase in the nicest, daddest way possible. “And when did this development start?”
“Yesterday,” he replies determinedly, “at Buck’s house. He cooks vegan stuff when I’m there so I’m vegan now.”
Evidently, that’s not enough explanation for them, because Ana and Dad trade another look. Dad looks so small underneath Ana’s intense, almost angry glare.

Summary
Eddie’s never met his neighbour.
That, however, doesn’t mean that Eddie hasn’t heard his neighbour.
Because, unfortunately, here in LA the walls are very thin. Too thin, really, since Eddie has been able to hear his neighbour singing in the shower every damn day this week.

Summary
Eddie had seen the Prince before, a few years prior during the marriage of then Prince Strand and a noblemen by the name of Carlos.
Prince Evan had been reserved and quiet standing stiff next to his father King Phillip the only time Eddie saw the Prince relax was when he was left alone by his father to talk to Prince Strand. He had been young then and he was still young now wide innocence eyes screaming louder than the fake air of confidence he was trying to put off.

“I’m not even in the neighborhood of mad,” he says, instead of vomiting any of the thousand feelings warring inside him. “But Buck. This would’ve—this took you hours.”
“I’m good at multitasking,” Buck says, and Eddie can practically hear him shrugging over the phone. “I did all the cooking after I put Chris to bed, and then I got up a little earlier to get the cleaning and laundry done. It was nothing.”
Eddie’s starting to suspect he’ll have to wait for Buck to come back to make him understand that, actually, it kind of was everything.

“Take your time,” Carla said sternly. “Don’t rush this because you’re worried, Buck, do you hear me? Any change in your scent could just set him off.”
“Yes, thank you, I know how to deal with Alphas,” he drawled.
“Yes, but Eddie’s not just another Alpha and I think it’s time we acknowledged that.”
