He steps out onto the stage, walking between the instrumentalists and right behind Simon. There are lights, fog, of course, the music. The whole thing is very overwhelming, but the loud cheers from the crowd as they realize what is happening push him on.
He steps up behind Simon and wraps his arms around him. He feels the other man tense only for a moment before falling back against Wilhelm, laughing.
