Dream finally moved onto him. He eyed Wilbur and then Tommy. His tensed muscles and firm grip told Tommy, Wilbur wasn’t happy seeing Dream. Tommy gave him the profile at his request. "Hmm, so you're still mourning your parents?"
"Yes," Wilbur answered for Tommy. He got off the cushion and let go of Tommy’s hand. Tommy resisted whining at the loss of contact. "We recently got him two weeks ago after his parents passed away, and spent a week at a youth shelter."
Dream read over the profile one more time, then glanced at Wilbur. "His blood type is O-positive?"
"It says it on the profile." Wilbur snapped.
Dream looked at the sheet once more. "I’ll take him."
"...What?" Wilbur choked, staring at him with wide eyes. "You’ll-what?"
"I’ll be adopting him." Dream squared his shoulders. "He’s the perfect match."

Tommy smirks to himself, if Uncle Sapnap is here that means he can hang out with him and avoid doing homework for at least a couple hours. After all it’s been like two weeks since he’s seen him. Considered forever in their family with Sapnap being his parents’ best friend.
So Tommy makes his way over, rounds the last corner to the kitchen, and is smacked with such a vile scene he freezes midstep.
He can’t decide what he wants to do first. Cut his ears off or strangle his Uncle.

Detective Wilbur Soot is puzzled.
It was the fourth poisoning that he’d investigated in the past two years, and all of the victims are related, in one way or another, to Dream Craft.
Now, Dream is a nice and lovely person, has seemingly zero motive, but Wilbur has suspicions.
While researching, Wilbur comes across a teen in a mental facility, named Tommy. He had been put there by his father, because he had been “spiraling down into insanity since his mother’s death, accusing his long-lost brother of murdering his mom and the brother’s old best friend”.
The foster brother is Dream, surprise, surprise.
Wilbur goes to question Tommy, and he answers in stories.
The stories are interesting, and says a lot about Dream.
