This is a canon rewrite!!!
Basically a "What if Stranger Things was a novel with multiple povs and everyone (or almost everyone) is canonically queer!!
Also, there's no Demogorgon, nothing mythical, only government conspiracy
The first couple of chapters you may know very well (btw there's a great amount of text pulled from the books, comics, and series transcripts, so all credit to them!!) as they are still kids there's not too much queerness, only hints, but I hope to cover all 4 seasons and post canon too!!! So please be patient and wait for a great development.

Jonathon is doing alright. Even though the silhouettes of Demogorgons stalk his dreams and guilt eats the outer layer of his stomach raw at night, he's fine. Jonathon Byers is fine, he has to be. As long as he can take care of his mom and brother and keep them safe from now on, he will be okay. He WILL be fine as long as he can figure out a way to make Will alright again. He's ready to put any problem that comes his way on the backburner until he can get his brother to smile like he used to. At least Jonathon Byers honestly does feel a little better when he has his camera in his hands. That has to be enough to get him through.
