    “Ah - Emerald, what a surprise.”
    They knew his real name, but he supposed they got off on calling him something else.
    “Are you in need of funds, or did you miss me?” The voice was mixed, two voices crashing together. They were both speaking. Izuku was used to telling them apart.
    “Need cash. More than usual.”
    “And are you willing to work for it?” That was Sludge.
    “Always.” Izuku flicked his cigarette into the street before shouldering past Nabi.

    OR: Izuku is an informant in the underground, forced to do anything to survive, including selling his body and his analysis skills. A wake up call brings him back to the hero world, but the underground reuses to let Izuku go.

He didn’t want to be here. Actually, that was a lie, he wanted to be here but he wished this was a regular monthly meeting instead of a vigil. This was the third vigil he’d been to this year, and it was only February.
    Last night, a six year old girl named Asami Sato took her life by swallowing a bottle of her mother’s pills. She did this only two hours after her own mother told her she should never have been born.
    Asami Sato was born quirkless. She was six, and had not developed a quirk at four like the majority of the population.
    Now, Asami Sato was an Orchid. A beautiful, fleeting memory.

    Izuku doesn't think he had much of a childhood. He didn't have friends, or a Dad, or a Quirk, and somewhere within that mix he lost the films and sleepovers and bug-catching, the holidays and pets and birthday parties.

    Izuku doesn't have to think to know that he loves Eri very, very much. And with that, he knows that he wants to make sure she reclaims every tiny piece of childhood she might have missed, or could in the future.

    She deserves the happiness that he didn't get. Even if he has to do things that scare him to ensure this, he'll do it. He's her Deku-nii after all.

    Aizawa knows that a lot of his kids haven't had ideal childhoods. The general countenance of his Problem Child suggests that he might be one of them. But it's not until he starts interacting with him in non-school settings that such things become far more obvious. And, well, maybe there's something he can do about it.

    At twelve he watched his mother die, and the his entire world shattered. His mother—the vigilante Attraction—was dead. And he vowed to destroy the people who killed her. Even if he died, again and again. He would avenge her.

    When they ask him why and all the events line up, what other choice did he have when the path had been so clearly carved in blood and tears? Izuku will do whatever he can to keep his promises to Bakugou. Even if that means selling his soul in the process. Even if Bakugou doesn’t care and he hates him for that. Because when it’s all said and done there will be only one person to blame for his descent into hell.

    This story is loosely based off @roguedruids Hero Class Civil Warfare. By loosely I mean like I added the authors personal canon into my story for 3-4 chapters smack dab in the middle of it.
