The first time Harley Ackerman walks the Cornfield Path, she is holding Clark Kent's hand. Silence coats them, heavy. What was there for him to say? I'm sorry your mother tells you that it's in your blood. That she's surprised it wasn't you who killed yourself. I'm sorry you believe her. Instead, he makes a promise to her. I always wondered if I should create this fic.
It had been something I considered when starting out on Monster High. But I always worried I wasn't skilled enough to make it. We're all friends here, so let us speak honestly. The original Nexo Knights show was poor. It always felt confused and uninspired. Even as a kid watching it I felt a bit lost sometimes. And the more I wrote Monster High stuff, making that realistic and a much more fleshed out universe, the more I had the urge to do the same to my favourite Lego theme.
So, for Nexo Knights' 10th anniversary, I will be rewriting the series! I have a few ideas. I think they're good. All I can hope is that they come off ok. Enough said. Enjoy.

“Beautiful, of course. Splendidly, breathtakingly beautiful, but it’s not real.” Hermione shrugged. Draco hummed, leaning forward.
“But isn’t it real? The magic, as real as you or me? Can’t you feel it, alive and writhing and desperate to be shaped and made into something glorious?” He said with fervour, and Hermione couldn’t help but laugh.
“No. Magic is a tool, a means to an end. And this?” She said, waving a hand at the magnificent tree standing silently behind them, “this is nothing but an illusion, tangible as it may be.”
Draco nodded slowly, and in one fluid movement, he hopped up from his chair and braced his hands on the arms of Hermione’s. His face was close, so close she could see the green flecks in his eyes, and the long sandy-brown lashes framing them.
“Just because the illusions aren’t real, doesn’t mean the illusionist isn’t.” He said quietly, searching deep into her eyes.
