“That’s really cool, though, Cole.” Kai continues, serious, “You and Zane can be like, a crazy team. You grow the stuff and he makes the best meals ever out of it.”
Cole finds his face heating up at the idea. Maybe it’s just the hot stove. “Well—I mean—-I would love that. If it’s still ok,” he glances over at Zane.
Zane smiles brightly, a strange glint in his eyes. “Of course it’s ok, Cole. And I quite like the idea of being a team.”
OR, Zane and Cole are two gay idiots, and Pixal has to play Cupid.

Summary

With the Oni on the horizon, the Ninja have no choice but to turn to one of their worst enemies for help, even if it comes with the cost of Lloyd ransacking their candy stash every three seconds.
