Summary
Arts and crafts day goes extremely awry when Stede, Alma, Louis, and Lucius are somehow pulled from 2025 into the old oil seascape they embellished together. Unfortunately, what they added to the waves was a 1717 pirate battle surrounded by vicious hungry sea monsters.
Now Stede's the captive of a mouldy maniac, spared from threats of gruesome torture only as long as he keeps sharing all the Mozart and Bach he can remember from the future, while Lucius and the kids were saved from becoming sabre-toothed shark poo by the crew of the legendary Blackbeard, who is really nothing like the stories.
Sometimes you find your family in very unexpected places. And sometimes a mutiny and a velvety suit help.

Edward Teach arrives at his AirHotel to find it's the fanciest house he's ever seen. The host has left him all kinds of luxurious treats, including the most comfortable pair of slippers.
The more he finds out about his absent host, Stede Edward Harcourt Bonnet, the more bewitched he becomes.
When he accidentally stumbles across Stede's favourite sex toy one evening, a whole new world of self-discovery is opened up for both of them from across the globe.
They do their best to navigate the unexpected situation they find themselves in, and learn to accept themselves as they accept each other.
A beautiful and unique story, I’ve loved podficcing this.
