“I don’t care.” Dream fires back. You saw what he did to me in broad daylight, I can’t imagine what he’ll do to you behind closed doors.” Dream’s hand clutch onto George’s shirt, everything in his body language screaming “get in the car.”
George leaves a long kiss on Dream’s lips. “I promise,” he starts, going in for another kiss like it’ll be the last time, “I promise he wouldn’t hurt me.”
Dream holds George’s forehead to his, his minty breath still faintly wafting between their mouths. “How can you be so sure?”
