Summary
After the ceiling of his apartment caves in, Martyn has to move in temporarily with his patron/lover Dollmaker, entwining their lives even further. Sharing living quarters with a voidsent (who doesn't sleep) while working two jobs, hunting for an apartment that allows Mamool Ja, and having that weird goldsmith guy following him around is stressful enough for our poor Great Azuro.
Unfortunately, it's about to get worse.

Summary
Blue magic was supposed to take Eorzea by storm. Instead, Martyn's working part-time as a Celestium entertainer and barely keeping the rent paid. When his debt-holders offer Martyn an opportunity to dig his way out of debt as a paid companion to a mysterious client, Martyn's not too proud to take the deal.
Even when the client turns out to to be a lonely voidsent with a fondness for building custom 'dolls' out of living mortals and playing dress up with them. A contract's a contract, after all, and Martyn's a bit of a freak himself...if he makes it out alive, this just might awaken something in him.

He replaces the willow tincture on the top shelf, and stops.
He has enough gil to make the next payment, barely enough to eat this month, nothing left over. His work at the apothecary has slowed to a diseased crawl. As Pearl Lane grows more populated, the number of people who can afford any kind of medicine dwindles, and the number of people who’ll deign to walk among the impoverished to reach his shop doesn’t grow either. The interest has piled up, more than the worth of the building, if he can even find someone to buy it. He could sell the pharmacy and every herb and cracked jar in it, and he’d still be drowning in payments- and it's hard to learn to swim in the desert.
He’s starting to feel the bloodthirsty stares of the coliseum crowd already, burning on the back of his neck.
He’s going to leave. -
