    Summary

    This is a collection of (largely) unrelated Boku No Hero Academia fics authored by me, Xologen. This series exists because I noticed a common theme in most of my fanfics: self-acceptance and actualization, something that I want to achieve but struggle with—similar to each fic's Izuku.

    Please note that this is not a series of fics, connected in universe; rather, it is more like a multiverse exploring character dynamics in different ways. The settings are largely the same, with little altered details to change up the execution. And, again, that looming ever-present theme of self-acceptance is in each of them.

    Every chapter in each fic is accompanied by a self-selected song in a fic-consistent genre, slowly assembling a fic playlist. It doesn't really affect much, story-wise anyways—I just really like music, it helps me get inspired.

    The fics are ordered by how much I am 'invested' into them, meaning fics at the top will receive a higher priority (and therefore, more updates) than fics at the bottom of the series. Rest assured, unless a fic is marked as abandoned, I am still writing all of them. Just some come slower.

    “Is that your quirk?” He asked, already taking notes on his experience. “That was so cool! Is it more of a paralysis, or, I don’t know, general mind control? Even if it’s just paralysis, that’d give you an enormous advantage in fights and hostage situations, but with mind control… The possibilities are endless!”

    The boy just stared at him, baffled.

    izuku and him pod were hurt and taken. he soon realized that they were only taken to get treated but his pod mate not his hatched one but the one he found couldn't be released. izuku and the permanently injured mers mate refused to leave him.

    Deku blinked, “huh?” but just as the teens' hands met Deku felt his stomach drop and the world began to spin. Instinctively he held tighter to the hand in his but everything was too much all of a sudden. The sound of blood in his ears drowning out any words and even the scream that escapes the hero. His body feels like it’s falling. The world is a total blur of colors. It feels like goes on forever, but it could have only been moments. By the time the world rights itself and the boy can think he notices he’s no longer surrounded by rubble. Blinking a bit he quickly took in the rooftop he now stood on with a quickly shrinking All Might.

    The man finds it a little odd that he’s being spontaneously adopted by a fifteen year old. But, like he said earlier, he’ll take what he can get.
