    He takes a step towards her, leans against the doorframe, blocks her exit. Well- there’s the window, but that doesn’t have any real support outside, so she’d have to try and cling to the tree itself, and she doesn’t trust her arms to do that for her. Even if she did, she doesn’t trust her legs to get her out of the window before Tighnari could catch her.
    “I’m sorry,” Collei says, panic starting to pool in her stomach.
    “For?” Tighnari says, and then, “What did you think you were doing, exactly?”

    Aether takes Amber to Sumeru for a deserved vacation. The first thing they do is visit Collei, who wasn’t expecting Aether and Amber to show up, but she’s delighted to see the two people she cares about most.

    Time flies without them realizing it: they talk for so long that night has already fallen by the time they notice. The couple are happy to see the enthusiasm lighting up Collei’s face, and Collei herself is absolutely thrilled to have spent the whole day with them.

    However, Collei has noticed from the start that the married couple always seems to be hiding something during their conversations. She spots strange glances, subtle behaviors between them. She brushes it off, thinking it must be her imagination, or maybe they’re just tired from the trip.

    With her usual hospitality, Collei offers them a small treehouse to spend the night, having no idea what was really going on. Because the moment the door closes and she walks away, Aether and Amber, their desire bottled up all day, can’t hold back any longer. They give in to their urges… and let’s just say, restraint won’t be on the agenda tonight, and Collei, with her curious nature, is going to pay the price.

    Cyno points past them. “Sumeru City is approximately that direction. Port Ormos lies further south. And…” He squints toward the cliffs breaking away from the Chasm. “Gandharva Ville.”
    Collei takes a step closer to the edge, trying to see past the branches. Not too close, in case her legs give out on her. Cyno clearly has the same idea, because he moves beside her, standing far enough for comfort and close enough to catch her if she should fall.
    “Gandharva Ville?”
    “Home to a friend of mine,” he explains. “The most intelligent person I’ve ever met, and I grew up at the Akademiya. Perhaps you’ll meet him someday.”

    Following the Black Fire Incident, Collei and Cyno make their way towards Sumeru. They may not be so different after all.

    Dottore becomes interested in the breeding behaviors of monsters with humans. There have been reports of monsters and humans breeding successfully. He also finds it interesting that monsters only came in certain elemental varieties.

    Upon realizing that there was no Dendo Rifthound or Dendo Lawachurl, he decides that he should try to breed one into existence. If only he had a dendo user on hand for the experiment.. Oh wait.

    A little birdie told him that his little escapee has a dendo vision now. She has a fertile womb and despite her illness she should be able to carry healthy pups to term with some assistance. She’s may not be the perfect candidate, but she’ll certainly work for this experiment.

    Maybe he will take a trip to Sumeru with Scaramouche after all.
